Mama Cax est une blogueuse sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans le mode de vie et de beaut\u00e9, mais qui a une histoire incroyable. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 diagnostiqu\u00e9e d’un cancer \u00e0 l’\u00e2ge de 14 ans et n’avait que 3 semaines \u00e0 vivre, selon ses m\u00e9decins. Heureusement, elle a surv\u00e9cu, mais cette horrible maladie a laiss\u00e9 une marque – Mama Cax s’est faite amputer la jambe droite.<\/p>\n

Vous pourriez penser que n’importe qui serait d\u00e9vast\u00e9 par une telle situation, mais Mama Cax n’a pas perdu son approche positive de la vie.<\/p>\n

\"L'histoire<\/p>\n

Elle raconte son histoire…<\/p>\n

On m’appelle Mama Cax et je travaille avec JAG Models. Quand j’\u00e9tais adolescente, on m’a diagnostiqu\u00e9e d’un cancer des os et du poumon. Et apr\u00e8s cela, je devais subir une amputation pour \u00eatre sauv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Juste apr\u00e8s ma chirurgie, j’ai en quelque sorte lutt\u00e9 avec l’image corporelle en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Quand j’ai eu ma proth\u00e8se pour la premi\u00e8re fois (SWIPE), j’ai essay\u00e9 de m\u00e9priser et d’ignorer ces regards inquisiteurs des gens. Mais apr\u00e8s je suis arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 un point tel que c’\u00e9tait un fardeau d’essayer de le cacher tout le temps. Donc j’ai juste eu une id\u00e9e. Et si je montrais qui je suis? Juste un peu de m\u00e9tal.

\nApr\u00e8s mon amputation, je poursuivais toujours cette image inaccessible de la beaut\u00e9, je pense que ma perception a chang\u00e9 quand j’ai vu que d’autres personnes voulaient changer quelque chose sur eux-m\u00eames: taille, poids et ainsi de suite. Cela vous fait r\u00e9aliser que chacun veut ce que l’autre a – le probl\u00e8me est la norme de beaut\u00e9

\nJ’ai grandi avec des parents qui me disaient que j’\u00e9tais belle tous les jours. J’avais 16 ans, couverte de cicatrices avec un membre en moins. Je ne me sentais pas belle. Au cours des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, j’ai pu m’extirper de la t\u00eate ce jugement que j’avais de moi et observer comment mes proches me voient.<\/p>\n

\nPour eux, mes cicatrices repr\u00e9sentaient les batailles que j’ai remport\u00e9es et ma proth\u00e8se m’a fait cette chouette cyborg. Mais ne vous m\u00e9prenez pas, j’ai de mauvais jours. Certains jours, je me r\u00e9veille et je me sens tellement d\u00e9courag\u00e9e et je demande \u00e0 l’univers pourquoi cela m’est arriv\u00e9e. Certains jours, j’en ai marre des regards et des questions.
\nJ’ai pu trouver l’amour de soi dans mes passe temps, voyages et exercices. Marcher vite pour attraper un train juste deux minutes avant le d\u00e9part, faire de l’escalade, s’accrocher \u00e0 ce dernier souffle pour terminer un tour – ces choses me font appr\u00e9cier l’endurance de mon corps et mes accomplissements. Cette appr\u00e9ciation est suffisante pour aimer mon corps, peu importe ce que la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 voit comme d\u00e9fauts

\nEn fin de compte, je suis capable de me sentir belle et d’\u00eatre confiante parce que je m’entoure de gens qui me voient comme une personne normale et qui me soutiennent. Personne ne sera jamais capable de m’arracher ces sentiments.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
