Ensuite, il partit pour Paris o\u00f9 il \u00e9tudia au lyc\u00e9e Louis-le-Grand et \u00e0 la Sorbonne. En 1935, il est re\u00e7u \u00e0 l&rsquo;agr\u00e9gation de grammaire.<\/h6>\n<p>Passionn\u00e9 de l&rsquo;Afrique, son continent d&rsquo;origine, il s&rsquo;est inscrit \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00c9cole pratique des hautes \u00e9tudes et celles de Paul Rivet, de Marcel Mauss et de Marcel Cohen \u00e0 l&rsquo;Institut d&rsquo;ethnologie de Paris pour suivre\u00a0les cours de linguistique n\u00e9gro-africaine de Lilias Homburger. Il faut noter qu&rsquo;il a \u00e9galement enseign\u00e9\u00a0les lettres et la grammaire au lyc\u00e9e Descartes \u00e0 Tours de 1935 \u00e0 1938. Il ne s&rsquo;arr\u00eate pas l\u00e0,\u00a0L\u00e9opold S\u00e9dar Senghor a donc eu un brillant parcours. En outre, il a re\u00e7u de nombreux prix. Le 5 septembre 1960, il est \u00e9lu premier Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal.<\/p>\n<p>Grande figure de la N\u00e9gritude, L\u00e9opold S\u00e9dar Senghor meurt le 20 d\u00e9cembre 2001, \u00e0 Verson en France.
