L&rsquo;on se souvient que les montants fix\u00e9s au cours de ces horribles ench\u00e8res se situaient entre\u00a0<em>400, 700, et 800<\/em>\u00a0 dinars libyens.<\/p>\n<p>La diffusion de cette vid\u00e9o avait provoqu\u00e9 une vive \u00e9motion dans le monde entier. Les voix se sont \u00e9lev\u00e9es pour d\u00e9noncer et condamner cette horrible pratique. La pression internationale a contraint les autorit\u00e9s libyennes \u00e0 ouvrir une enqu\u00eate quelques jours apr\u00e8s la visite de John Sullivan, le secr\u00e9taire d\u2019\u00c9tat adjoint am\u00e9ricain, samedi le 17 Novembre \u00e0 Tripoli. Le jeudi d&rsquo;avant, c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;ambassadeur britannique qui \u00e9tait dans la capitale libyenne.<\/p>\n<p>A la suite d&rsquo;un entretien entre les responsables occidentaux et Ahmed Mitig, le vice-Premier ministre libyen, Ahmed Mitig a promis de superviser \u00ab\u00a0<em>lui-m\u00eame<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb le dossier et d\u2019\u00ab\u00a0<em>arr\u00eater les accus\u00e9s et les emmener en prison<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb. Preuve que l&rsquo;autorit\u00e9 politique prend le pas sur le pouvoir judiciaire.<\/p>\n<p>Il faut dire que la vente aux ench\u00e8res des migrants comme esclaves ne date pas d&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui. L&rsquo;on se souvient qu&rsquo;en avril dernier, l\u2019Organisation internationale des migrants avait publi\u00e9 un rapport sur des\u00a0 \u00ab\u00a0<em>march\u00e9s publics aux esclaves<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb actifs dans toute la Libye. Mais \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque, d&rsquo;apr\u00e8s les t\u00e9moignages recueillis par la presse ou les travailleurs humanitaires les ann\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes, ce rapport n&rsquo;avait pas eu une \u00e9chos favorable.<\/p>\n<p>Des hommes venus du Mali, du Niger, du Ghana sont exhib\u00e9s comme du b\u00e9tail aux futurs acqu\u00e9reurs et vendus sans vergogne au plus offrant. Objets de tous les trafics par les passeurs, ces migrants africains qui r\u00eavent d&rsquo;Europe finissent souvent entass\u00e9s dans ces camps de d\u00e9tention sordides. Certains affirment ici avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 mis aux ench\u00e8res pour travailler de force, soumis \u00e0 des traitements inhumains.<\/p>\n<p>Nos confr\u00e8res de RFI indiquent que les responsables de ce trafic auraient profit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;absence d&rsquo;autorit\u00e9 centrale cr\u00e9dible en Libye depuis l\u2019effondrement du r\u00e9gime kadhafi pour se livrer \u00e0 la vente des migrants comme esclaves.
