Une d\u00e9cision de la plus haute juridiction allemande, rendue publique mercredi, va en tout cas en ce sens.<\/p>\n<p class=\"chapo\">Reconna\u00eetre le troisi\u00e8me sexe d&rsquo;ici fin 2018, c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;exhortation qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 formul\u00e9e il y a quelques heures par le tribunal constitutionnel allemand \u00e0 l&rsquo;endroit des d\u00e9put\u00e9s. Si la reconnaissance du troisi\u00e8me sexe est effective en Allemagne dans les prochaines semaines, ce serait une grande premi\u00e8re en Europe. L&rsquo;Allemagne deviendrait le premier pays \u00e0 le reconna\u00eetre officiellement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"chapo\">Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une mention alternative entre le sexe masculin et le sexe f\u00e9minin.\u00a0Le tribunal constitutionnel allemand a donn\u00e9 \u00e0 la chambre des d\u00e9put\u00e9s jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0fin 2018\u00a0\u00bb pour voter la l\u00e9galisation d&rsquo;un \u00ab\u00a0troisi\u00e8me sexe\u00a0\u00bb sur les registres de naissance, \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 des mentions \u00ab\u00a0masculin\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0f\u00e9minin\u00a0\u00bb, selon la d\u00e9cision de la juridiction.<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<div id=\"videostep\">\n<p class=\"chapo\">D\u00e8s lors, une personne pourra \u00eatre reconnue par l&rsquo;Etat civil comme de \u00ab\u00a0genre neutre\u00a0\u00bb, et pas forc\u00e9ment de genre f\u00e9minin ou masculin. L&rsquo;Australie a d\u00e9j\u00e0 officialis\u00e9 la reconnaissance du genre neutre dans ses textes.\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">La Haute cour \u00ab\u00a0<em>reconna\u00eet qu&rsquo;une personne peut \u00eatre ni de sexe masculin ni de sexe f\u00e9minin et autorise donc l&rsquo;enregistrement d&rsquo;une personne comme \u00e9tant d&rsquo;un genre \u00ab\u00a0non sp\u00e9cifique<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, d&rsquo;apr\u00e8s<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">\u00a0un avis unanime des juges. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"chapo\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">L&rsquo;appel d\u00e9pos\u00e9 par l&rsquo;\u00c9tat de Nouvelle-Galles du sud qui r\u00e9clamait que seuls soient reconnus les genres f\u00e9minin et masculin a \u00e9t\u00e9 rejet\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Il faut dire que cette d\u00e9cision intervient \u00e0 la suite d&rsquo;une bataille judiciaire men\u00e9e par une personne: Norrie. Ce dernier qui ne s&rsquo;identifie pas comme un homme ni une femme r\u00e9clamait la cr\u00e9ation d&rsquo;une cat\u00e9gorie suppl\u00e9mentaire qu&rsquo;on appelle \u00ab\u00a0<em>genre neutre<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, rapporte ABC News.<\/p>\n<p>A la naissance, Norrie \u00e9tait de genre masculin. Apr\u00e8s avoir subi une intervention chirurgicale pour changer de sexe en 1989, l&rsquo;op\u00e9ration a \u00e9chou\u00e9.
