Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 constat\u00e9 l&rsquo;impossibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;acc\u00e9der \u00e0Twitter, Facebook encore moins WhatsApp qui semblent ne plus fonctionner dans ces r\u00e9gions qui s&rsquo;appr\u00eatent \u00a0\u00e0 vivre une journ\u00e9e de tous les dangers ce dimanche 1er octobre. Toutefois les moteurs de recherche dont Google sont fonctionnels.<\/p>\n<p>Les ind\u00e9pendantistes anglophones ont pr\u00e9vu de proclamer de fa\u00e7on symbolique l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance de l\u2019Etat de l\u2019Ambazonie, qui regroupe les r\u00e9gions de Nord-Ouest et du Sud-Ouest, et qui compte 20 % des 22 millions de Camerounais.<\/p>\n<p>Le mercredi, la ministre des Postes et T\u00e9l\u00e9communications, Minette Libom Li Likeng, avait assur\u00e9 dans un communiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019il n\u2019y aurait pas de coupure d\u2019internet dans les r\u00e9gions anglophones \u201cdans les prochains jours\u201d. Des tentatives de plusieurs m\u00e9dias locaux, pour joindre Issa Bakary Tchiroma, le ministre camerounais de la Communication pour obtenir la position du gouvernement, se sont sold\u00e9es par un \u00e9chec.<\/p>\n<p>Le Nord-ouest et le Sud-ouest, les deux r\u00e9gions anglophones sur les dix du Cameroun, avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 priv\u00e9es d\u2019internet pendant trois mois jusqu\u2018\u00e0 fin avril, soit la plus longue coupure de ce type en Afrique.<\/p>\n<p>Un rapport publi\u00e9 mercredi par l\u2019organisation internationale Cipesa, a fait savoir que les coupures internet d\u00e9cid\u00e9es par les gouvernements africains depuis 2015 ont co\u00fbt\u00e9 environ 237 millions de dollars \u00e0 l\u2018\u00e9conomie africaine. De plus en plus, les r\u00e9seaux sociaux se sont impos\u00e9s comme de v\u00e9ritables opposants aux pouvoirs africains.
