Quarante personnes ont perdu la vie dans la catastrophe, apprend-t-on de source officielle.<\/p>\n<p>Une forte pluie a caus\u00e9 le glissement d\u2019un terrain. En effet, les pans d\u2019une montagne se sont affaiss\u00e9 sur un camp de p\u00eacheurs situ\u00e9 sur le bord du lac Albert.<\/p>\n<p>Selon le vice-gouverneur de la province Ituri, Pacifique Keta, il y a eu quarante morts, et quatre rescap\u00e9s\u00a0: des personnes bless\u00e9es dans cet accident ont \u00e9t\u00e9 admises \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital de Tshomia.<\/p>\n<p>Ce village a \u00e9t\u00e9 constitu\u00e9 par la force des choses. En effet, la p\u00eache sur le lac Albert \u00e9tant l&rsquo;une des principales activit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques en Ituri, r\u00e9gion frontali\u00e8re de l&rsquo;Ouganda, elle a fini par r\u00e9unir ces hommes aux occupations communes.<\/p>\n<h2>Une catastrophe de plus<\/h2>\n<p>La R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo a par le pass\u00e9 connu des catastrophes similaires caus\u00e9es par des glissements de terrain.<\/p>\n<p>En 2002, une coul\u00e9e de boue et de pierres provoqu\u00e9e par une s\u00e9rie de fortes pluies \u00e0 Uvira a fait plus de 2500 personnes sans logements. Ensuite, en Mai de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2010, une coul\u00e9e de boue avait travers\u00e9 le village de Kibiriga dans l&rsquo;est du pays et avait fait 19 morts et 27 personnes disparues.<\/p>\n<p>Mais ces donn\u00e9es alarmantes sont loin des 300 morts caus\u00e9s par une coul\u00e9e de boue il y a quelques jours en Sierra Leone.
