AfrikMag vous \u00e9claire sur ces questions.<\/p>\n<h2>Pourquoi l\u2019appellation de syndrome du c\u00f4lon irritable?<\/h2>\n<p>On parle de c\u00f4lon irritable\u00a0 car l&rsquo;intestin devient en quelque sorte hypersensible et pr\u00e9sente une activit\u00e9 irr\u00e9guli\u00e8re au niveau de sa paroi.<\/p>\n<h2>Quels sont les sympt\u00f4mes?<\/h2>\n<p>Le syndrome du c\u00f4lon irritable fait apparaitre bien souvent une alternance de diarrh\u00e9e et de constipation.En effet, quand les fibres\u00a0musculaires se contractent, elles permettent la progression des aliments.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, il arrive que ces fibres musculaires se contractent et se rel\u00e2chent trop rapidement. L&rsquo;intestin n&rsquo;a alors plus assez de temps pour r\u00e9absorber l&rsquo;eau contenue dans les aliments, c&rsquo;est la <strong>diarrh\u00e9e<\/strong>. \u00c0 d&rsquo;autres moments, les contractions sont au contraire plus lentes ou plus faibles que la normale, ce qui entra\u00eene cette fois une constipation.<\/p>\n<p>A cela s&rsquo;ajoutent bien souvent des gaz et des ballonnements. Il peut aussi y avoir des crampes ainsi que des <strong>douleurs abdominales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Quelles sont les causes?<\/h2>\n<p>Les causes de ce trouble sont m\u00e9connues. Cependant des hypoth\u00e8ses ciblent une irritabilit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me nerveux qui contr\u00f4le les contractions des intestins ou encore\u00a0 un probl\u00e8me de flore intestinale.<\/p>\n<h2>Comment se fait le diagnostic?<\/h2>\n<p>Le diagnostic du syndrome du c\u00f4lon irritable se fait gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une coloscopie. Et cela sert \u00e0 \u00e9carter les suspicions de cancer digestif ou du c\u00f4lon.<\/p>\n<h2>Existe-t-il des traitements contre ce trouble?<\/h2>\n<p>Selon des sp\u00e9cialistes, le syndrome du c\u00f4lon irritable n&rsquo;est pas dangereux pour la sant\u00e9. Mais il pr\u00e9sente une g\u00eane \u00e0 cause de l&rsquo;instabilit\u00e9 digestive du sujet.<\/p>\n<p>Pour aider les patients atteints du <strong>syndrome de l&rsquo;intestin irritable<\/strong>, il faut intervenir au niveau de la motricit\u00e9 du tube digestif afin de calmer les spasmes et la sensibilit\u00e9 visc\u00e9rale. Ce traitement repose sur les antispasmodiques (ou en cas d&rsquo;inefficacit\u00e9, certains antid\u00e9presseurs).
