Samuel Eto’o pr\u00e9f\u00e8re une nouvelle \u00e9quipe \u00e0 la t\u00eate de la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration africaine de football (CAF). L’institution organisera le 16 mars 2017 son \u00e9lection pour le renouvellement de l’instance. A cette \u00e9lection, Issa Hayatou, le pr\u00e9sident sortant est candidat \u00e0 sa propre succession.<\/p>\n

Qui de Issa Hayatou ou du\u00a0 Malgache Ahmad Ahmad sera le prochain pr\u00e9sident? Difficile de le savoir. Seul le vote du 16 mars prochain situera l’opinion africaine.<\/p>\n

Mais, en attendant, Samuel Eto’o souhaite un changement \u00e0 la t\u00eate de la CAF. Dans une longue interview accord\u00e9e \u00e0 jeune Afrique, Eto’o a vant\u00e9 les m\u00e9rites du pr\u00e9sident Hayatou mais en m\u00eame temps, estime qu’il faut un changement \u00e0 la t\u00eate de l’instance dirigeante du football africain.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Issa Hayatou a beaucoup fait pour le football africain. Et je pense qu\u2019il songe \u00e0 sa propre succession, pour p\u00e9renniser le bon travail qu\u2019il a abattu\u00a0\u00bb, a fait comprendre Eto’o dans son interview.<\/p>\n

Avant de poursuivre en ces termes: \u00ab\u00a0Aucune institution ne r\u00e9siste aux lois des cycles et du changement. J\u2019esp\u00e8re juste que ces changements pourront aider le football africain \u00e0 \u00e9voluer, car c\u2019est le plus important. Le d\u00e9veloppement de la CAN a permis d\u2019am\u00e9liorer les infrastructures, et c\u2019est important. Mais les principaux b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires de ces changements doivent \u00eatre les joueurs, surtout ceux \u00e9voluant en Afrique. La CAF est \u00e0 un certain niveau de revenus financiers. Elle est respect\u00e9e, au sein de la Fifa par exemple. Regardez la Fifa : l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de Gianni Infantino \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence a reboost\u00e9 l\u2019innovation, sans faire tanguer l\u2019institution. Tenter autre chose \u00e0 la t\u00eate de la CAF n\u2019est donc pas une mauvaise id\u00e9e\u2026\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n
