Lorsqu\u2019elle est caus\u00e9e par le pollen, on l\u2019appelle plus commun\u00e9ment, rhume des foins.<\/p>\n

  1. Quels sont les causes\u00a0?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    On ne conna\u00eet pas les causes exactes de la rhinite allergique, mais le bagage g\u00e9n\u00e9tique constituerait un facteur assez important.<\/p>\n

    La rhinite allergique appara\u00eet la plupart du temps entre 5 et 20\u00a0ans. Ces sympt\u00f4mes r\u00e9sultent d\u2019une sensibilisation anormale et d\u2019une r\u00e9action excessive du syst\u00e8me immunitaire envers une substance \u00e9trang\u00e8re au corps nomm\u00e9e allerg\u00e8ne<\/strong>.<\/strong> Selon la personne, il pourra s\u2019agir du pollen des plantes, de moisissures, de substances sur les poils ou la peau d\u2019animaux ou d\u2019autres particules. Lorsque cette substance entre en contact avec les yeux ou les voies respiratoires de la personne allergique, le syst\u00e8me immunitaire met en branle une r\u00e9action inflammatoire. De l’histamine et d’autres substances inflammatoires sont alors \u00ab\u00a0inutilement\u00a0\u00bb lib\u00e9r\u00e9es. Cette r\u00e9action entra\u00eene la dilatation des vaisseaux sanguins et l\u2019augmentation des s\u00e9cr\u00e9tions li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019apparition des sympt\u00f4mes de rhinite allergique.<\/p>\n

      Il existe deux types de rhinite allergique:<\/p>\n

      La rhinite persistante <\/strong>(ou ap\u00e9riodique) est entretenue par des allerg\u00e8nes constamment pr\u00e9sents dans l’environnement de la personne.<\/p>\n

        Elle\u00a0 peut aussi \u00eatre provoqu\u00e9e par des substances allergisantes pr\u00e9sentes en permanence dans l’environnement de la personne, \u00e0 la maison ou au travail. La personne atteinte semble perp\u00e9tuellement enrhum\u00e9e. La crise se d\u00e9clenche souvent au r\u00e9veil et peut se r\u00e9p\u00e9ter plusieurs fois par jour.<\/p>\n

          Les m\u00e9dicaments \u00e0 utiliser sont les anti histaminiques pour calmer la r\u00e9action du corps. Les d\u00e9congestionnants sont pour lib\u00e9rer les voies nasales. Les anti-leucotri\u00e8nes pour r\u00e9duire l\u2019apparition des sympt\u00f4mes. Ce sont entre autres des m\u00e9dicaments \u00e0 utiliser. Mais contacter votre m\u00e9decin.<\/p>\n
