S&rsquo;accrocher \u00e0 l&rsquo;ex-chef d&rsquo;\u00e9tat ivoirien constitue un \u00ab\u00a0handicap\u00a0\u00bb, a affirm\u00e9 \u00a0Pascal Affi N\u2019Guessan.<br \/>\nUne partie du Front populaire ivoirien qui avait d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de pr\u00e9senter 186 candidats aux \u00e9lections du 18 d\u00e9cembre n\u2019a remport\u00e9 que trois si\u00e8ges, alors que Le RDHP, la coalition au pouvoir, se taillait la part de lion avec 167 d\u00e9put\u00e9s sur 254. Des ind\u00e9pendants ont remport\u00e9 la majorit\u00e9 des si\u00e8ges restants.<br \/>\n\u00ab\u00a0<em><strong>On s\u2019attendait \u00e0 mieux (&#8230;) mais cela s\u2019explique par le faible taux de participatio<\/strong><\/em>n\u00a0\u00bb de 34%, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019AFP M. Affi N\u2019Guessan, ancien Premier ministre, \u00e9lu dans sa circonscription.<br \/>\nL&rsquo;autre branche dissidente du FPI, regorgeant les membres dit des \u00ab\u00a0frondeurs\u00a0\u00bb ou encore appel\u00e9s Pro-Gbagbo qui selon eux c&rsquo;est Gbagbo ou rien, avait appel\u00e9 au boycott des l\u00e9gislatives.<br \/>\nSelon Pascal Affi N\u2019Guessan, l\u2019avenir de ce parti qui a dirig\u00e9 la C\u00f4te d&rsquo;Ivoire pendant 10 ans se trouve dans sa capacit\u00e9 de r\u00e9novation et de proposition d\u2019une offre politique nouvelle.<br \/>\n\u00ab\u00a0<em><strong>Apr\u00e8s ces \u00e9lections, on passe \u00e0 une autre phase qui ne doit pas s\u2019accommoder de tergiversations vis-\u00e0-vis de ceux qui ont montr\u00e9 qu\u2019ils ne sont pas capables de se r\u00e9former (&#8230;) qui veulent s\u2019accrocher au pass\u00e9 et qui<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>constituent un boulet. Il faut couper ce boulet et aller de l\u2019avant<\/strong><\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, a-t-il poursuivi, \u00e9voquant \u00ab\u00a0une rupture\u00a0\u00bb.<br \/>\n\u00ab\u00a0<em><strong>Quel que soit ce que l\u2019on pense du fondateur (Laurent Gbagbo), il s\u2019agit<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>de construire un nouveau projet qui prend en compte le bilan du pass\u00e9 pour identifier les handicaps du parti. Or les handicaps du parti son li\u00e9s \u00e0 son image<\/strong><\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, a t-il martel\u00e9.<br \/>\nS&rsquo;il reconnait que\u00a0le FPI a \u00e9t\u00e9 maintes fois accus\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0de parti x\u00e9nophobe, sectaire et violent il affirme qu&rsquo;il faudrait rompre avec tout ceci et construire un parti r\u00e9publicain, soucieux de la stabilit\u00e9 politique, ouvert au monde et non un parti renferm\u00e9 sur un nationalisme d\u00e9brid\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb.<br \/>\n\u00ab\u00a0<em><strong>Laurent Gbagbo, c\u2019est la restauration du multipartisme en C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire (en 1990, NDLR) et la lutte pour l\u2019accession au pouvoir du FPI en 2000. Aujourd\u2019hui, il est dans les liens de la d\u00e9tention, il n\u2019est plus actif, il faut poursuivre le processus, avec de nouveaux hommes, un nouveau discours et avec des nouvelles ambitions li\u00e9es \u00e0 un contexte nouveau<\/strong><\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, a soulign\u00e9 M.
