Ces vestiges laissent croire que, ses habitants avaient un rang social \u00e9lev\u00e9.<img  title=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"js-image-replace\" src=\"http:\/\/ichef-1.bbci.co.uk\/news\/660\/cpsprodpb\/95D1\/production\/_92635383_egypt.jpg\"  alt=\"Egypte: Des arch\u00e9ologues d\u00e9couvrent une cit\u00e9 vieille de 7 000 ans\"  width=\"976\" height=\"549\" data-highest-encountered-width=\"660\" \/><br \/>\nSelon BBC, cette cit\u00e9 d\u00e9couverte, se trouve pr\u00e8s du temple fun\u00e9raire de S\u00e9thi I, pr\u00e8s du Nil, \u00e0 Abydos, une importante ville de l&rsquo;Egypte antique. 5316 avant J\u00e9sus-Christ, telle est la datation qu\u2019ont donn\u00e9 des arch\u00e9ologues \u00e0 leur nouvelle d\u00e9couverte dans la cit\u00e9 antique d\u2019Abydos<br \/>\nLa d\u00e9couverte, d\u2019apr\u00e8s les autorit\u00e9s \u00e9gyptiennes, a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite par une mission arch\u00e9ologique du minist\u00e8re \u00e9gyptien des Antiquit\u00e9s, et non pas un groupe \u00e9tranger.<\/p>\n<p><img  title=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.africahotnews.com\/LogoNewsx\/809028.jpg\"  alt=\"Egypte: Des arch\u00e9ologues d\u00e9couvrent une cit\u00e9 vieille de 7 000 ans\"  width=\"600\" height=\"375\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cette d\u00e9couverte pourrait contribuer \u00e0 relancer le secteur du tourisme, min\u00e9 par des ann\u00e9es de baisse du nombre de visiteurs. Plus de 14,7 millions de touristes se sont rendus en Egypte en 2010, puis seulement 9,8 millions en 2011, ann\u00e9e de la \u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9volution du Nil\u00a0\u00bb et de la chute du pr\u00e9sident Hosni Moubarak. Au premier trimestre 2016, les touristes \u00e9trangers n&rsquo;ont \u00e9t\u00e9 que 1,2 million, contre 2,2 millions au premier trimestre 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Le Ministre des Antiquit\u00e9s, Mahmoud Afifi, \u00e0 propos de la d\u00e9couverte, avait laiss\u00e9 entendre qu&rsquo;elle permettra d\u2019en savoir un peu plus sur l\u2019histoire d\u2019Abydos.
