Cette basilique sortie de terre en 1989, construite en trois ann\u00e9es seulement, s\u2019\u00e9tend sur un espace de 130 hectares, une capacit\u00e9 de 18 000 places dont 7000 assises. Ville historique, qu\u2019Achille Mbembe qualifie de \u00ab\u00a0ville portes ouvertes\u00a0\u00bb. Il est haut de 25 m\u00e8tres, fait de cuivre et de bronze par des ing\u00e9nieurs chinois, il a une esp\u00e9rance de vie de plus de 1000 ans et a co\u00fbt\u00e9 plus de 15 milliards.
