Le Fonds mon\u00e9taire international (FMI) a annonc\u00e9 jeudi que le Zimbabwe, en arri\u00e9r\u00e9s de paiement \u00e0 son \u00e9gard depuis quinze ans, avait r\u00e9gl\u00e9 toutes ses dettes, ce qui pourrait permettre au pays de redevenir \u00e9ligible pour une \u00e9ventuelle aide financi\u00e8re, selon l&rsquo;AFP.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Le Zimbabwe est maintenant \u00e0 jour sur toutes ses obligations financi\u00e8res envers le FMI\u00a0\u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 Gerry Rice, le porte-parole de l&rsquo;institution, dans un bref communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Le Zimbabwe est maintenant \u00e0 jour sur toutes ses obligations financi\u00e8res envers le FMI. Le Zimbabwe \u00e9tait en arri\u00e9r\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re continue depuis 2001\u00a0\u00bb, \u00a0a indiqu\u00e9 Gerry Rice, le porte-parole de l&rsquo;institution, dans un bref communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><img  title=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"irc_mi iPg2_Wk7dJG8-pQOPx8XEepE aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/img.radio-canada.ca\/2016\/10\/20\/635x357\/161020_ya4jf_mugabe-zimbabwe_sn635.jpg\"  alt=\"Le Zimbabwe ne doit plus rien au FMI, le pays a rembours\u00e9 toutes ses dettes\"  width=\"726\" height=\"408\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pour normaliser ses relations avec le pays de Robert Mugab\u00e9, le FMI avait envoy\u00e9 en 2013, \u00a0une mission technique. L&rsquo;institution financi\u00e8re avait toutefois exclu \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque de pr\u00eater de l&rsquo;argent au pays, qui avait fr\u00f4l\u00e9 l&rsquo;expulsion de l&rsquo;institution en 2006 \u00e0 cause de ses arri\u00e9r\u00e9s de paiement.<\/p>\n<p>Il y a 10 ans, l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie du Zimbabwe \u00e9tait plong\u00e9e dans la crise,.\u00a0\u00bbPour sortir de l&rsquo;impasse, Harare a cherch\u00e9 ces derniers mois \u00e0 n\u00e9gocier un emprunt aupr\u00e8s du FMI, mais les donateurs internationaux restent m\u00e9fiants vis-\u00e0-vis d&rsquo;une aide qui pourrait maintenir sous perfusion le r\u00e9gime du pr\u00e9sident Robert Mugabe plut\u00f4t qu&rsquo;encourager des r\u00e9formes\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e9crit le360.<\/p>\n<p>Rappelons qu\u2019en 2009, le Zimbabwe a abandonn\u00e9 sa monnaie \u00e0 la faveur du dollar am\u00e9ricain pour mettre fin \u00e0 l&rsquo;hyperinflation.
