A son arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;h\u00f4pital, une femme \u00e2g\u00e9e de 38 ans, sujette \u00e0 des naus\u00e9es, pr\u00e9sentait un abdomen pro\u00e9minent.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">La digestion bloqu\u00e9e par des cheveux<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Au cour de la prise en charge, les m\u00e9decins ont d\u00e9couvert que la patiente avait subi une perte de poids de 7 kg ces 8 derniers mois, et que son app\u00e9tit avait diminu\u00e9 depuis un an. Les tests ne donnant aucun r\u00e9sultat probant, les professionnels se sont d\u00e9cid\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019op\u00e9rer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">C\u2019est alors qu\u2019ils ont d\u00e9couvert, nich\u00e9e dans l\u2019estomac de la femme, une boule de cheveux d\u2019environ 15 centim\u00e8tres de circonf\u00e9rence faisant obstacle \u00e0 la digestion des aliments. Aussi appel\u00e9e syndrome de Raiponce en rapport avec la princesse \u00e0 la longue chevelure. Cette anomalie est li\u00e9e \u00e0 des troubles psychiques qui apparaissent le plus fr\u00e9quemment chez les enfants et les adolescents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seulement 88 cas sont aujourd\u2019hui recens\u00e9s dans le monde selon les m\u00e9decins ayant r\u00e9dig\u00e9 le rapport. La maladie n\u2019a toutefois de conte f\u00e9erique que le nom, car une fois les cheveux aval\u00e9s, l\u2019estomac humain est incapable de les dig\u00e9rer.
