Un patient dans un \u00e9tat critique est mort un jour apr\u00e8s que l\u2019ambulance qui l&#8217;emmenait en urgence vers l\u2019h\u00f4pital a \u00e9t\u00e9 contrainte de s&rsquo;arr\u00eater pour laisser le passage au convoi de Himanta Biswa Sarma, ministre en chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat d\u2019Assam, dans la ville de Silchar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Le patient, identifi\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant Rasaraj Chakraborty, r\u00e9sidait dans le district de Sribhumi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Souffrant d\u2019une grave maladie du foie, son \u00e9tat s\u2019\u00e9tait brutalement d\u00e9grad\u00e9, n\u00e9cessitant son transfert d&rsquo;urgence vers le Silchar Medical College and Hospital pour y recevoir des soins sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s. Il a succomb\u00e9 le jeudi 1er octobre au matin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Selon les informations rapport\u00e9es par <\/span><span class=\"s3\">India Today<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, le drame s&rsquo;est jou\u00e9 le mercredi 30 septembre au point d&rsquo;intersection ISBT de Ramnagar. La police a bloqu\u00e9 la circulation, y compris l&rsquo;ambulance transportant M. Chakraborty, afin de d\u00e9gager la voie pour le cort\u00e8ge officiel du ministre en chef.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Une vid\u00e9o montrant l\u2019ambulance immobilis\u00e9e au milieu de la circulation pendant le passage des v\u00e9hicules officiels a rapidement circul\u00e9 sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux, d\u00e9clenchant une vague de col\u00e8re et d&rsquo;indignation au sein de la population.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Face au toll\u00e9, les autorit\u00e9s ont r\u00e9agi. D&rsquo;apr\u00e8s <\/span><span class=\"s3\">The Times of India<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, quatre policiers en service au moment des faits ont \u00e9t\u00e9 imm\u00e9diatement suspendus pour avoir stopp\u00e9 le v\u00e9hicule d&rsquo;urgence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le ministre en chef Himanta Biswa Sarma a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 ses excuses \u00e0 la famille de la victime, qualifiant l\u2019incident d\u2019\u00ab inacceptable \u00bb. Il a rappel\u00e9 qu&rsquo;aucun d\u00e9placement d\u2019officiel ne devait pr\u00e9valoir sur une urgence m\u00e9dicale :<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u00ab Les urgences m\u00e9dicales doivent pr\u00e9valoir sur les d\u00e9placements de personnalit\u00e9s. En aucun cas la circulation des ambulances ou de tout autre v\u00e9hicule d\u2019urgence ne doit \u00eatre entrav\u00e9e en raison de dispositifs li\u00e9s au convoi d\u2019un VIP. \u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Le dirigeant a \u00e9galement insist\u00e9 sur le fait que les consignes concernant les convois officiels devaient d\u00e9sormais \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9es \u00ab \u00e0 la lettre \u00bb, affirmant que \u00ab la nouvelle Assam n\u2019a pas de place pour la culture des VIP \u00bb et que quiconque occupe son poste n&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;un \u00ab serviteur en chef \u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00ab Il n&rsquo;y a pas de lien direct \u00bb, assure le ministre<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Tout en pr\u00e9sentant ses condol\u00e9ances, M. Sarma a tenu \u00e0 pr\u00e9ciser que, selon lui, le d\u00e9c\u00e8s n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas directement caus\u00e9 par cet arr\u00eat : \u00ab Le patient souffrait d\u2019une grave maladie du foie et son d\u00e9c\u00e8s n\u2019est pas li\u00e9 \u00e0 ce court arr\u00eat \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9 face aux journalistes \u00e0 Nagaon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Sur le terrain, la d\u00e9tresse de la famille est immense. L\u2019\u00e9pouse de Rasaraj Chakraborty a lanc\u00e9 un appel \u00e0 l\u2019aide poignant au ministre en chef, rappelant que son mari \u00e9tait le seul soutien financier de la maison :<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u00ab Il laisse derri\u00e8re lui deux enfants.
