D\u2019autres se couvrent de boue ou se tiennent dans l\u2019eau, une corde autour du cou. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une mise en sc\u00e8ne symbolique, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e comme des \u00ab fun\u00e9railles de l\u2019eau \u00bb.<\/p>\n<h2>La crainte de perdre maisons et terres<\/h2>\n<p>Les participants d\u00e9noncent les cons\u00e9quences qu\u2019ils redoutent pour leurs habitations, leurs terrains et leurs moyens de subsistance. Leur action vise le projet Ken-Betwa, un chantier de liaison fluviale repr\u00e9sentant plusieurs milliards de dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Au-del\u00e0 de ces images, leur revendication porte sur les conditions concr\u00e8tes du d\u00e9placement des habitants concern\u00e9s. Ils r\u00e9clament une indemnisation \u00e9quitable et des mesures de r\u00e9installation adapt\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<h2>Les autorit\u00e9s d\u00e9fendent le dispositif de compensation<\/h2>\n<p>Les autorit\u00e9s affirment de leur c\u00f4t\u00e9 que les familles \u00e9ligibles re\u00e7oivent une compensation et sont r\u00e9install\u00e9es. Les manifestants estiment, eux, que leurs inqui\u00e9tudes ne sont pas r\u00e9solues.<\/p>\n<p>La protestation met ainsi en lumi\u00e8re le d\u00e9saccord entre les garanties annonc\u00e9es et ce que demandent les habitants.
