L&rsquo;enregistrement l\u00e9gal de la marque ECO constitue un progr\u00e8s, mais le cadre g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de cette monnaie est encore en cours d&rsquo;\u00e9laboration.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">La Communaut\u00e9 \u00e9conomique des \u00c9tats de l&rsquo;Afrique de l&rsquo;Ouest (CEDEAO) a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 son intention de\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">lancer une monnaie unique<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e prochaine. Cependant, le bloc indique privil\u00e9gier une mise en \u0153uvre progressive, les pays r\u00e9pondant \u00e0 des crit\u00e8res de convergence tels que l&rsquo;inflation, la dette et la stabilit\u00e9 mon\u00e9taire \u00e9tant les premiers \u00e0 y adh\u00e9rer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">L\u2019information a \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9e dans un communiqu\u00e9 publi\u00e9 \u00e0 la suite de\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">la r\u00e9union des chefs d\u2019\u00c9tat de la CEDEAO qui s\u2019est tenue dimanche en Sierra Leone<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"adzone-outstream\" class=\"advertising advertising--no-label js-adzone advertising--outstream advertising--called advertising--rendered advertising--empty-slot\" data-google-query-id=\"CJm56_Pr5pUDFfrELggdiEYXPA\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/6458\/africanews-new\/programs\/business_4__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">La monnaie unique, baptis\u00e9e ECO, est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e comme un moyen d&rsquo;approfondir l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration r\u00e9gionale et de soutenir une croissance durable et inclusive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">L\u2019enregistrement l\u00e9gal de la marque ECO est un progr\u00e8s, mais d\u2019importantes questions restent en suspens, notamment celle de savoir si les membres de l\u2019Union \u00e9conomique et mon\u00e9taire ouest-africaine (UEMOA), qui utilisent le franc CFA, seront inclus d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">La CEDEAO indique que plusieurs points n\u00e9cessitent encore un accord, notamment concernant la future banque centrale, les r\u00e8gles de prise de d\u00e9cision et les pays qui commenceront par mettre en \u0153uvre ces mesures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Le lancement de l&rsquo;ECO devra \u00e9galement composer avec l&rsquo;\u00e9volution du paysage politique ouest-africain,\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">le Burkina Faso, le Mali et le Niger ayant quitt\u00e9 le bloc<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0tout en restant membres de l&rsquo;UEMOA.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Les consultations se poursuivent et une r\u00e9union cl\u00e9 du groupe de travail est pr\u00e9vue avant le sommet de d\u00e9cembre 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La CEDEAO poursuit activement son projet de monnaie unique.
