js-responsive-iframes-container\">\n<p><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Le Parlement ghan\u00e9en a approuv\u00e9 l&rsquo;une des lois anti-LGBTQ les plus restrictives d&rsquo;Afrique, relan\u00e7ant une l\u00e9gislation controvers\u00e9e qui impose des peines de prison pour les relations homosexuelles et soutient les activit\u00e9s LGBTQ, malgr\u00e9 les vives critiques des groupes de d\u00e9fense des droits humains et des organisations internationales.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Le Parlement ghan\u00e9en a approuv\u00e9 vendredi le projet de loi sur les droits sexuels et les valeurs familiales, une mesure largement consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme l&rsquo;une des lois anti-LGBTQ les plus s\u00e9v\u00e8res du continent africain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Le texte l\u00e9gislatif doit d\u00e9sormais \u00eatre ratifi\u00e9 par le pr\u00e9sident John Mahama avant de pouvoir entrer en vigueur.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"adzone-outstream\" class=\"advertising advertising--no-label js-adzone advertising--outstream advertising--called advertising--rendered advertising--empty-slot\" data-google-query-id=\"CKmDwK7q4ZQDFYTPDQkdhdUIFg\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/6458\/africanews-new\/programs\/news_3__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Les l\u00e9gislateurs avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 adopt\u00e9 le projet de loi \u00e0 l&rsquo;unanimit\u00e9 en 2024, mais l&rsquo;ancien pr\u00e9sident Nana Akufo-Addo ne l&rsquo;a pas sign\u00e9 avant de quitter ses fonctions, ce qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 sa caducit\u00e9 en vertu des r\u00e8gles constitutionnelles.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span dir=\"auto\">Peines de prison pour relations homosexuelles et plaidoyer<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">La loi pr\u00e9voit des peines de prison allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 trois ans pour les personnes ayant des relations homosexuelles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Elle pr\u00e9voit \u00e9galement des peines de trois \u00e0 cinq ans pour les personnes reconnues coupables de promouvoir, de parrainer ou de soutenir intentionnellement des activit\u00e9s LGBTQ.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Bien que la version nouvellement approuv\u00e9e conserve les dispositions essentielles du projet de loi initial, les l\u00e9gislateurs ont introduit des exemptions pour les professionnels du droit, les travailleurs de la sant\u00e9 et les professionnels des m\u00e9dias.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span dir=\"auto\">Les organisations de d\u00e9fense des droits humains condamnent la l\u00e9gislation<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Les organisations de d\u00e9fense des droits humains et plusieurs instances internationales ont vivement critiqu\u00e9 ce projet de loi, arguant qu&rsquo;il menace les libert\u00e9s fondamentales et pourrait accro\u00eetre la discrimination \u00e0 l&rsquo;encontre des personnes LGBTQ.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Les critiques affirment que cette l\u00e9gislation risque de compromettre les protections relatives \u00e0 la libert\u00e9 d&rsquo;expression, d&rsquo;association et d&rsquo;acc\u00e8s aux soins de sant\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Ses partisans, quant \u00e0 eux, affirment que cette mesure refl\u00e8te les valeurs culturelles et religieuses du pays.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span dir=\"auto\">Le d\u00e9bat refl\u00e8te une division sociale plus large<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Le Ghana demeure une nation profond\u00e9ment religieuse et socialement conservatrice, \u00e0 majorit\u00e9 chr\u00e9tienne et marqu\u00e9e par une forte opposition publique aux relations homosexuelles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">De telles relations sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 interdites par une loi datant de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque coloniale et h\u00e9rit\u00e9e de la domination britannique, m\u00eame si les poursuites judiciaires sont rares.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">L&rsquo;adoption de ce projet de loi devrait relancer le d\u00e9bat, tant au Ghana qu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle internationale, sur l&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre entre les valeurs culturelles, les droits de l&rsquo;homme et les libert\u00e9s
