Les forces de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ont arr\u00eat\u00e9 pr\u00e8s d\u2019une centaine de criminels, mettant en lumi\u00e8re une nouvelle tactique particuli\u00e8rement perverse : des malfaiteurs qui se font passer pour des malades mentaux afin d\u2019espionner leurs futures victimes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">C\u2019est un coup de filet spectaculaire qu\u2019a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 l\u2019Amotekun Corps (l&rsquo;Ondo State Security Network Agency). Au total, 98 criminels pr\u00e9sum\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9s lors d\u2019une vaste op\u00e9ration de s\u00e9curisation. Mais au-del\u00e0 des chiffres, c&rsquo;est le mode op\u00e9ratoire de certains suspects qui choque la population et les autorit\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Pour passer sous le radar de la police et de la population, les r\u00e9seaux de kidnappeurs ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une strat\u00e9gie redoutable. Des complices se d\u00e9guisaient en personnes souffrant de troubles mentaux pour d\u00e9ambuler dans les rues sans \u00e9veiller les soup\u00e7ons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, ces \u00ab faux fous \u00bb servaient d&rsquo;\u00e9claireurs. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Le commandant de l\u2019Amotekun Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 les d\u00e9tails de l&rsquo;enqu\u00eate lors de la pr\u00e9sentation des suspects \u00e0 la presse : \u00ab Nos agents de renseignement et en civil les ont surveill\u00e9s et suivis. Ils ont d\u00e9couvert les endroits pr\u00e9cis o\u00f9 ces individus allaient pour recharger leurs t\u00e9l\u00e9phones, changer de v\u00eatements et coordonner les futures attaques. \u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">En plus de collecter des informations cruciales sur les cibles \u00e0 enlever, ces faux marginaux \u00e9taient \u00e9galement impliqu\u00e9s dans le trafic de drogue et le vol \u00e0 main arm\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">L&rsquo;op\u00e9ration anti-criminalit\u00e9 a permis de neutraliser plusieurs cellules actives dans la r\u00e9gion : 10 suspects ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pris en flagrant d\u00e9lit, directement sur les lieux de tentatives de kidnapping.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"> 60 personnes sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 traduites devant la justice. Des r\u00e9seaux de trafic de stup\u00e9fiants et de recel ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9mantel\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">L\u2019Amotekun Corps a \u00e9galement partag\u00e9 un succ\u00e8s majeur : le sauvetage d&rsquo;un couple kidnapp\u00e9 dans la communaut\u00e9 d&rsquo;Iluabo. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une intervention rapide dans une zone foresti\u00e8re et une traque nocturne, les forces de l&rsquo;ordre ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 lib\u00e9rer les deux otages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00ab Nous avons r\u00e9uni la famille sans aucun paiement de ran\u00e7on ni n\u00e9gociation \u00bb , s&rsquo;est f\u00e9licit\u00e9 le commandant Adeleye.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Selon les autorit\u00e9s locales, cette hausse soudaine des kidnappings et du banditisme dans l\u2019\u00c9tat d\u2019Ondo s&rsquo;explique par un effet de vases communicants.
