La ville de Kadoma est sous le choc apr\u00e8s un double f\u00e9minicide d\u2019une rare violence. <\/span><\/p>\n

Obert Namurokosi, un homme de 45 ans, a \u00e9t\u00e9 plac\u00e9 en garde \u00e0 vue par la police de la R\u00e9publique du Zimbabwe (ZRP). Il est accus\u00e9 d\u2019avoir mortellement poignard\u00e9 son \u00e9pouse et sa fille de 23 ans, qui \u00e9tait sur le point d\u2019accoucher. <\/span>Tout commence le 2 mai 2026. \u00c0 la suite d\u2019une dispute conjugale au domicile familial, Cynthia Namurokosi, \u00e2g\u00e9e de 45 ans, a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de fuir la col\u00e8re de son mari. Elle a alors cherch\u00e9 refuge chez sa fille, Takudzwa Namurokosi, qui \u00e9tait install\u00e9e dans le quartier de Victory Park.<\/p>\n

Pensant \u00eatre en s\u00e9curit\u00e9, les deux femmes ne se doutaient pas que le suspect allait les traquer. Le lendemain, le 3 mai, Obert Namurokosi s’est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 au domicile de sa fille alors qu’il \u00e9tait arm\u00e9 d’un couteau de cuisine.
\n<\/span>Le rapport de police d\u00e9crit une sc\u00e8ne d’une cruaut\u00e9 absolue. Selon les premi\u00e8res constatations des autorit\u00e9s, le suspect s’en est d’abord pris \u00e0 sa fille, Takudzwa. Cette derni\u00e8re, qui \u00e9tait enceinte de neuf mois, a re\u00e7u plusieurs coups de couteau sur le corps. Le suspect s’est ensuite retourn\u00e9 contre son \u00e9pouse pour lui infliger une blessure mortelle au niveau du cou.
\nMalgr\u00e9 l’intervention des secours, les deux victimes ont succomb\u00e9 \u00e0 leurs blessures. \u00a0<\/span>\u00c0 ce stade, les autorit\u00e9s n’ont pas encore communiqu\u00e9 de pr\u00e9cisions sur le sort de l’enfant \u00e0 na\u00eetre, bien que la jeune femme ait \u00e9t\u00e9 au terme de sa grossesse.
\n<\/span>\u00ab La ZRP confirme l’arrestation d’Obert Namurokosi en lien avec deux cas de meurtre survenus \u00e0 Victory Park \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le porte-parole de la police dans un communiqu\u00e9 officiel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ce drame a provoqu\u00e9 une vague d’indignation dans tout le pays. La police nationale a profit\u00e9 de cette annonce pour envoyer un message de fermet\u00e9 et de sensibilisation \u00e0 la population.<\/span><\/p>\n

Les autorit\u00e9s exhortent les citoyens \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier syst\u00e9matiquement des moyens pacifiques pour r\u00e9soudre les conflits familiaux afin d’\u00e9viter de tels drames.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dans son communiqu\u00e9, la police mart\u00e8le son opposition totale \u00e0 ces actes par le slogan : \u00ab Non \u00e0 la violence domestique et au meurtre \u00bb.
\n<\/span>Obert Namurokosi est actuellement d\u00e9tenu par les services de police. L’enqu\u00eate est toujours en cours pour d\u00e9terminer les circonstances exactes de son passage \u00e0 l’acte, et la date de sa premi\u00e8re comparution devant le tribunal n’a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 fix\u00e9e.
