L’ancien milieu de terrain d’Arsenal, Thomas Partey, fait face \u00e0 de nouvelles accusations criminelles au Royaume-Uni, apr\u00e8s que les procureurs ont ajout\u00e9 deux chefs d’accusation de viol li\u00e9s \u00e0 une nouvelle plaignante.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cet homme de 32 ans avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 inculp\u00e9 en juillet de cinq viols sur deux femmes, ainsi que d’une agression sexuelle sur une troisi\u00e8me. Avec ces nouvelles accusations, l’affaire concerne d\u00e9sormais quatre femmes au total.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ces accusations suppl\u00e9mentaires font suite \u00e0 une plainte distincte d\u00e9pos\u00e9e en ao\u00fbt, ce qui a incit\u00e9 la police m\u00e9tropolitaine de Londres \u00e0 rouvrir une enqu\u00eate sur un incident pr\u00e9sum\u00e9 remontant \u00e0 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

Partey doit compara\u00eetre devant le tribunal de premi\u00e8re instance de Westminster le 13 mars pour une audience pr\u00e9liminaire. Il a toujours ni\u00e9 les faits qui lui sont reproch\u00e9s. En septembre, il a plaid\u00e9 non coupable devant la Cour de la Couronne de Southwark concernant les accusations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes et a \u00e9t\u00e9 lib\u00e9r\u00e9 sous caution.<\/span><\/p>\n

Selon l’accusation, les faits reproch\u00e9s, mentionn\u00e9s dans l’acte d’accusation de l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, se seraient d\u00e9roul\u00e9s entre 2021 et 2022, durant son passage \u00e0 Arsenal. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 formellement inculp\u00e9 peu apr\u00e8s l’expiration de son contrat avec le club londonien, fin juin.<\/span><\/p>\n

L’enqu\u00eate polici\u00e8re a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en f\u00e9vrier 2022 suite \u00e0 un premier signalement de viol. Le proc\u00e8s, qui devrait se tenir devant un juge de la Haute Cour, devrait commencer le 2 novembre.<\/span><\/p>\n

Depuis son d\u00e9part de Premier League, Partey a sign\u00e9 un contrat d’un an avec le club espagnol de Villarreal. Le transfert a \u00e9t\u00e9 officialis\u00e9 cet \u00e9t\u00e9, apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9p\u00f4t d’une plainte.<\/span><\/p>\n

L’international ghan\u00e9en a rejoint Arsenal en provenance de l’Atletico Madrid en octobre 2020 pour un montant estim\u00e9 \u00e0 45,3 millions de livres sterling et a disput\u00e9 130 matchs de championnat sous les ordres de l’entra\u00eeneur Mikel Arteta.<\/span><\/p>\n

Son avocate, Jenny Wiltshire, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment que son client rejetait toutes les all\u00e9gations et qu’il attendait avec int\u00e9r\u00eat la proc\u00e9dure judiciaire afin de laver son nom.<\/span><\/p>\n
