Un navire de guerre fran\u00e7ais a accost\u00e9 au port de Tema au Ghana alors que Paris s’efforce de r\u00e9affirmer sa pr\u00e9sence en Afrique de l’Ouest apr\u00e8s une vague de revers militaires et diplomatiques au Sahel.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Le navire d’assaut amphibie de classe Mistral de la marine fran\u00e7aise,\u00a0<\/span>Tonnerre<\/span><\/em>\u00a0, est arriv\u00e9 au port de Tema au Ghana le 30 septembre 2025 pour lancer le cours r\u00e9gional de formation \u00e0 bord et num\u00e9rique 2025 (SIREN), un exercice conjoint avec la marine ghan\u00e9enne ax\u00e9 sur le sauvetage maritime, le contr\u00f4le de la pollution, les op\u00e9rations de lutte contre la piraterie, la gestion de crise et la\u00a0<\/span>coop\u00e9ration r\u00e9gionale.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Command\u00e9e par le capitaine de vaisseau Arnaud Bolelli, cette visite intervient alors que la France s’efforce de renforcer ses partenariats de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 le long du golfe de Guin\u00e9e apr\u00e8s les r\u00e9cents revers au Sahel, signalant un changement strat\u00e9gique vers un engagement plus profond avec les nations c\u00f4ti\u00e8res d’Afrique de l’Ouest.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Le navire de 199 m\u00e8tres, command\u00e9 par le capitaine de vaisseau Arnaud Bolelli, a attir\u00e9 l’attention des dockers et des badauds alors qu’il entrait dans le port, une d\u00e9monstration frappante de puissance navale et un signal de l’engagement continu de la France en faveur de la\u00a0<\/span>s\u00e9curit\u00e9 r\u00e9gionale en Afrique de l’Ouest.<\/span><\/p>\n

L’arriv\u00e9e du navire a \u00e9t\u00e9 accueillie officiellement par de hauts responsables de la marine ghan\u00e9enne et des repr\u00e9sentants de la d\u00e9fense fran\u00e7aise, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi un partenariat qui perdure depuis des ann\u00e9es de collaboration en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Le capitaine Bolelli, accompagn\u00e9 de l’attach\u00e9 de d\u00e9fense fran\u00e7ais, le colonel Gr\u00e9goire Madelin, a rendu une visite de courtoisie au commodore Solomon Asiedu-Larbi, commandant en chef du commandement naval de l’Est du Ghana, pour discuter de la port\u00e9e de l’exercice et des priorit\u00e9s maritimes communes.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Cette visite intervient alors que la France \u00e9volue dans un contexte africain en pleine mutation. Apr\u00e8s le retrait de ses forces du Mali, du Burkina Faso et du Niger, d\u00e9sormais regroup\u00e9es au sein de l’Alliance des \u00c9tats du Sahel (AES), Paris a\u00a0<\/span>r\u00e9orient\u00e9 sa strat\u00e9gie<\/span> vers les pays riverains du golfe de Guin\u00e9e, notamment le Ghana, la C\u00f4te d’Ivoire et le S\u00e9n\u00e9gal.<\/span><\/p>\n
