{"id":374654,"date":"2025-08-28T08:48:52","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T08:48:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/afrikmag.com\/var\/www\/vhosts\/afrikmag.compublic_html\/?p=374654"},"modified":"2025-08-28T08:48:52","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T08:48:52","slug":"guinee-equatoriale-le-fils-du-president-condamne-pour-avoir-vendu-un-avion-de-letat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/afrikmag.com\/var\/www\/vhosts\/afrikmag.compublic_html\/guinee-equatoriale-le-fils-du-president-condamne-pour-avoir-vendu-un-avion-de-letat\/","title":{"rendered":"Guin\u00e9e \u00c9quatoriale : Le fils du pr\u00e9sident condamn\u00e9 pour avoir vendu un avion de l\u2019\u00c9tat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Un tribunal de Guin\u00e9e \u00c9quatoriale a condamn\u00e9 Ruslan Obiang Nsue, l&rsquo;un des fils du pr\u00e9sident Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, pour la vente ill\u00e9gale d&rsquo;un avion appartenant \u00e0 la compagnie a\u00e9rienne nationale Ceiba Intercontinental, a confirm\u00e9 un haut responsable judiciaire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Selon les d\u00e9tails communiqu\u00e9s par Hilario Mitogo, directeur de presse de la Cour supr\u00eame, via un message WhatsApp aux m\u00e9dias, le juge a statu\u00e9 ce mardi que Ruslan Obiang Nsue, 50 ans, devait purger une peine de six ans d&#8217;emprisonnement s&rsquo;il ne compensait pas financi\u00e8rement l&rsquo;\u00c9tat pour la perte de l&rsquo;appareil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">L&rsquo;affaire remonte \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque o\u00f9 M. Obiang Nsue occupait le poste de directeur de la compagnie Ceiba Intercontinental. Le tribunal a \u00e9tabli qu&rsquo;il avait vendu un avion de type ATR 72-500 \u00e0 une entreprise espagnole et avait d\u00e9tourn\u00e9 le produit de la vente \u00e0 son profit personnel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Pour \u00e9viter l&rsquo;incarc\u00e9ration, le tribunal a offert une alternative au condamn\u00e9 : il doit verser \u00e0 la compagnie a\u00e9rienne la somme d&rsquo;environ 255 000 dollars, correspondant \u00e0 la valeur de l&rsquo;avion, ainsi que des dommages et int\u00e9r\u00eats et une amende \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00c9tat. Le tribunal l&rsquo;a en revanche acquitt\u00e9 des charges distinctes de d\u00e9tournement de fonds et d&rsquo;abus de pouvoir, retenues dans cette affaire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Cette condamnation intervient alors que l&rsquo;int\u00e9ress\u00e9 avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 assign\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9sidence en 2023 sur ordre de son propre demi-fr\u00e8re, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, vice-pr\u00e9sident du pays et \u00e9galement fils du chef de l&rsquo;\u00c9tat. Cette mesure avait \u00e9t\u00e9 interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e comme un signe de luttes intestines au sein du clan pr\u00e9sidentiel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ruslan Obiang Nsue, qui a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 secr\u00e9taire d&rsquo;\u00c9tat aux Sports et \u00e0 la Jeunesse, \u00e9volue dans l&rsquo;ombre d&rsquo;une famille au pouvoir depuis 46 ans sur ce petit \u00c9tat d&rsquo;Afrique centrale, riche en hydrocarbures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Cette affaire n&rsquo;est pas la premi\u00e8re \u00e0 entacher la famille Obiang. Dans un retentissant proc\u00e8s pour \u00ab\u00a0biens mal acquis\u00a0\u00bb, un tribunal fran\u00e7ais avait condamn\u00e9 en juillet 2021 le vice-pr\u00e9sident Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue \u00e0 une peine de prison avec sursis et \u00e0 une amende de 35 millions de dollars pour d\u00e9tournement de fonds publics et abus de confiance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">La condamnation d&rsquo;un membre de la famille r\u00e9gnante, m\u00eame mineur, est un \u00e9v\u00e9nement rare en Guin\u00e9e \u00c9quatoriale, o\u00f9 la justice est souvent per\u00e7ue comme inf\u00e9od\u00e9e au pouvoir ex\u00e9cutif.
