Dans un message publi\u00e9 sur X, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Muhoozi Kainerugaba, fils du pr\u00e9sident et chef des forces de d\u00e9fense ougandaises, a menac\u00e9 de frapper la ville de Bunia, dans l’est du Congo voisin, si \u00ab toutes les forces \u00bb sur place ne rendaient pas leurs armes dans les 24 heures.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Il a not\u00e9 qu’il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 autoris\u00e9 par le pr\u00e9sident du pays, son p\u00e8re, Yoweri Museveni, \u00e0 poursuivre l’offensive \u00e0 moins que les forces \u00e0 Bunia ne se rendent dans les prochaines 24 heures.<\/p>\n

Kainerugaba avait affirm\u00e9 plus t\u00f4t samedi que des membres du groupe ethnique Bahima \u00e9taient massacr\u00e9s, mais il n’avait fourni aucune preuve, comme l’a rapport\u00e9 Reuters.<\/p>\n

\n

\u00ab Mon peuple, les Bahima, est attaqu\u00e9. C’est une situation tr\u00e8s dangereuse pour ceux qui attaquent mon peuple. Personne sur cette terre ne peut tuer mon peuple et penser qu’il n’en souffrira pas ! \u00bb a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00ab Bunia sera bient\u00f4t aux mains de l’UPDF \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9 dans un autre message, faisant r\u00e9f\u00e9rence aux Forces de d\u00e9fense du peuple ougandais.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Il a \u00e9galement publi\u00e9 sur sa page X des vid\u00e9os tr\u00e8s horribles de meurtres de masse qu’il pr\u00e9tendait perp\u00e9tr\u00e9s par des milices congolaises.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Les craintes qu’un affrontement entre les forces congolaises et les rebelles du M23 suppos\u00e9ment soutenus par le Rwanda puisse se transformer en une guerre r\u00e9gionale plus vaste sont exacerb\u00e9es par la menace pos\u00e9e par le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Muhoozi,\u00a0r\u00e9v\u00e8le l’article\u00a0de Reuters .<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Le conflit dans l\u2019est de la RDC s\u2019est intensifi\u00e9 en janvier 2025, avec des affrontements \u00e0 Goma, au Nord-Kivu, d\u00e9pla\u00e7ant plus de 480 000 personnes et aggravant une crise humanitaire d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9sastreuse.<\/p>\n
