Apr\u00e8s avoir contract\u00e9 le VIH lors de cette relation, il s&rsquo;est retrouv\u00e9 plong\u00e9 dans une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 difficile \u00e0 accepter. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00ab La premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9rience de sortie hors de mon domicile conjugal est la suivante : il a \u00e9t\u00e9 prouv\u00e9 qu\u2019environ 85 \u00e0 90 % des personnes vivant avec le VIH ont contract\u00e9 cette maladie par des rapports s\u20acxuels \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9, t\u00e9moignant de son regret face \u00e0 cette d\u00e9cision qui a chang\u00e9 sa vie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Outre les d\u00e9fis m\u00e9dicaux que le VIH impose, Ahmed a d\u00fb faire face \u00e0 une stigmatisation sociale intense. Il a racont\u00e9 comment il lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 interdit d&rsquo;utiliser des toilettes communes, un signe clair de la peur et du manque de compr\u00e9hension qui entouraient le virus \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque. Il a \u00e9galement perdu son emploi d\u2019enseignant, une profession qu&rsquo;il aimait profond\u00e9ment, lorsqu&rsquo;on lui a demand\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0honorablement\u00a0\u00bb de ne plus se pr\u00e9senter \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cole. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00ab On m\u2019a refus\u00e9 l\u2019utilisation des toilettes de l\u2019enceinte, on ne m\u2019a pas autoris\u00e9 \u00e0 acc\u00e9der aux toilettes, j\u2019\u00e9tais autrefois enseignant, donc on m\u2019a demand\u00e9 honorablement d\u2019arr\u00eater de venir \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole \u00bb, a-t-il confi\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">L\u2019une des \u00e9preuves les plus douloureuses qu&rsquo;Ahmed a travers\u00e9es a \u00e9t\u00e9 l&rsquo;abandon de sa famille. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Sa femme et ses enfants, confront\u00e9s \u00e0 la peur et \u00e0 la stigmatisation, ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de quitter le foyer familial. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00ab Elle a tout emball\u00e9, y compris les enfants \u00e0 la maison, ils m\u2019ont abandonn\u00e9 \u00bb, a-t-il racont\u00e9 avec une grande \u00e9motion.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un Nig\u00e9rian du nom de Salisu Ahmed a r\u00e9cemment partag\u00e9 son parcours de vie marqu\u00e9 par sa cohabitation avec le virus de l\u2019immunod\u00e9ficience humaine (VIH) depuis 31 ans.
