D\u00e9vor\u00e9e par la culpabilit\u00e9, elle en est venue \u00e0 la conclusion que la seule issue \u00e9tait de demander le divorce. Convaincue que c&rsquo;\u00e9tait la meilleure solution, elle a pris la difficile d\u00e9cision de se confier \u00e0 son mari, esp\u00e9rant que sa sinc\u00e9rit\u00e9 faciliterait une s\u00e9paration mutuellement consentie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Cependant, contre toute attente, la r\u00e9action de son \u00e9poux a \u00e9t\u00e9 bien diff\u00e9rente de ce qu\u2019elle imaginait. Plut\u00f4t que d\u2019accepter sa demande de divorce, son mari a cat\u00e9goriquement refus\u00e9 de donner suite. Selon les dires de la jeune femme, son mari consid\u00e8re qu\u2019il est socialement inacceptable qu\u2019une femme initie une proc\u00e9dure de divorce, particuli\u00e8rement dans le contexte culturel ghan\u00e9en. Il s&rsquo;accroche \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e que la dissolution d\u2019un mariage ne peut \u00eatre une d\u00e9cision unilat\u00e9rale prise par l&rsquo;\u00e9pouse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ce t\u00e9moignage a d\u00e9clench\u00e9 une v\u00e9ritable vague de discussions sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux, avec des points de vue vari\u00e9s sur la question de l&rsquo;infid\u00e9lit\u00e9, des droits des femmes dans le mariage, et des normes culturelles qui r\u00e9gissent les relations conjugales dans certaines soci\u00e9t\u00e9s africaines.
