Le chanteur nig\u00e9rian David Adeleke, plus connu sous le nom de Davido, a engag\u00e9 une action en justice contre Sophia Momodu, la m\u00e8re de son premier enfant, Imade, pour obtenir la garde de leur fille. <\/span><\/p>\n

Dans une requ\u00eate introductive d\u00e9pos\u00e9e par ses avocats, Dr Olaniyi Arije, Okey Barrah et d’autres, \u00e0 la Haute Cour de l’\u00c9tat de Lagos, en date du 17 avril 2024, Davido demande \u00e0 la cour \u00ab\u00a0une ordonnance accordant la garde conjointe de Mlle Imade Adeleke au requ\u00e9rant.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c0 titre subsidiaire, le chanteur a demand\u00e9 \u00e0 la cour \u00ab\u00a0une ordonnance accordant au requ\u00e9rant un acc\u00e8s libre et sans restriction \u00e0 Mlle Imade.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

La poursuite, enregistr\u00e9e sous le num\u00e9ro LD\/1587PMC\/2024, a comme requ\u00e9rant M. David Adedeji Adeleke, tandis que Mme Sophia Momodu est inscrite comme unique intim\u00e9e. La requ\u00eate introductive est soutenue par un affidavit de 44 paragraphes sign\u00e9 par Davido lui-m\u00eame.<\/span><\/p>\n

Davido a expliqu\u00e9 que, bien qu’il ait eu une relation avec Momodu qui a conduit \u00e0 la naissance de leur enfant le 14 mai 2015, leur relation a pris fin il y a quelques ann\u00e9es. Ils avaient alors d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de prendre soin de leur enfant en tant que p\u00e8re et m\u00e8re biologiques. <\/span><\/p>\n

Davido a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0Il est document\u00e9 que j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 responsable du paiement de tous les frais de scolarit\u00e9 de ma fille pour lui fournir la meilleure \u00e9ducation possible et r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 tous ses besoins \u00e9ducatifs sans aucun probl\u00e8me. J’ai \u00e9galement fourni de l’argent pour le loyer de l’appartement o\u00f9 l’intim\u00e9e r\u00e9side avec notre fille.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Le chanteur a ajout\u00e9 qu’en raison de l’amour qu’il a pour Imade, il a achet\u00e9 et offert \u00e0 la m\u00e8re un appartement d’une valeur de 200 millions de nairas dans une r\u00e9sidence s\u00e9curis\u00e9e avec piscine et alimentation en eau et \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 24 heures sur 24 \u00e0 Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos, une offre qu’elle a refus\u00e9e. \u00ab\u00a0L’intim\u00e9e a rejet\u00e9 l’offre de rester et de vivre dans l’appartement s\u00e9curis\u00e9 d\u00e9crit ci-dessus, qui avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 achet\u00e9, mais a exig\u00e9 que je continue \u00e0 payer 5 000 000 de nairas par an pour une maison lou\u00e9e en guise de contribution pour le logement de ma fille.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Davido a expliqu\u00e9 que pour s’assurer que l’int\u00e9r\u00eat d’Imade soit bien pris en charge, \u00ab\u00a0j’ai achet\u00e9 un v\u00e9hicule utilitaire sport Range Rover pour l’usage de l’enfant et de l’intim\u00e9e afin de r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de transport, y compris le transport de l’enfant vers et depuis l’\u00e9cole, etc.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Il a ajout\u00e9 qu’il y a environ un an, il a re\u00e7u un appel de l’\u00e9cole de sa fille indiquant qu’Imade avait \u00e9t\u00e9 absente pendant deux semaines et, apr\u00e8s avoir demand\u00e9 des explications \u00e0 Momodu, \u00ab\u00a0elle a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 donner des excuses et \u00e0 se plaindre que le Range Rover SUV n’\u00e9tait pas en bon \u00e9tat, mais elle a refus\u00e9 de m’en informer.\u00a0\u00bb <\/span><\/p>\n

Suite \u00e0 cette information, Davido a fourni un autre v\u00e9hicule, un SUV Highlander, ainsi qu’une somme de 5,8 millions de nairas demand\u00e9e par Momodu pour la r\u00e9paration du Range Rover SUV, mettant ainsi deux v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 la disposition de l’intim\u00e9e et de leur fille.<\/span><\/p>\n

Selon Davido, pour s’assurer que l’int\u00e9r\u00eat de leur enfant soit ad\u00e9quatement pris en charge, \u00ab\u00a0j’ai \u00e9galement pris des engagements pour payer les frais de subsistance, les frais de la nounou de notre enfant, fournir des soins m\u00e9dicaux et de sant\u00e9, une assurance, des frais de voyage internationaux p\u00e9riodiques et des billets.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0En d\u00e9pit de mes efforts dans l’int\u00e9r\u00eat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de ma fille, l’intim\u00e9e continue de faire des demandes extravagantes et utopiques pour me frustrer\u00a0\u00bb, a ajout\u00e9 le chanteur.<\/span><\/p>\n

Listant les autres demandes pr\u00e9tendument faites par Momodu, il a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0L’intim\u00e9e, entre autres, exige que je paie la nounou qu’elle a engag\u00e9e \u00e0 raison de 800 dollars par mois, et que la somme totale de 19 600 dollars par an soit pay\u00e9e en une seule fois.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Davido a affirm\u00e9 que malgr\u00e9 sa contribution pour assurer une meilleure vie \u00e0 leur fille, \u00ab\u00a0l’intim\u00e9e continue de me montrer une cruaut\u00e9 injustifi\u00e9e, m’infligeant tant de douleur.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Davido et Sophia ont souvent \u00e9t\u00e9 en d\u00e9saccord. En 2021, Sophia a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 qu’elle \u00e9tait bless\u00e9e lorsque leur fille, Imade, a pris le nom de famille de Davido et non le sien. Momodu a exprim\u00e9 cela via sa story Instagram lorsqu’elle a r\u00e9agi \u00e0 un post sur les enfants portant les noms de leurs m\u00e8res. Selon elle, elle a pleur\u00e9 am\u00e8rement parce que sa fille ne pouvait pas porter son nom de famille \u00ab\u00a0Momodu\u00a0\u00bb. Elle a en outre r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que sa m\u00e8re lui a fait comprendre qu’Imade devait porter le nom de son p\u00e8re pour pouvoir b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de son lignage et de son h\u00e9ritage.<\/span><\/p>\n
