Aliko Dangote , l’homme le plus riche d’Afrique et pr\u00e9sident du groupe Dangote, a assur\u00e9 qu’avec la mise en \u0153uvre des plans de la raffinerie Dangote, le Nigeria n’aura plus besoin d’importer de l’essence \u00e0 partir du mois prochain.<\/p>\n

Dangote a fait cette annonce lors du sommet annuel du Africa CEO Forum \u00e0 Kigali vendredi, exprimant son optimisme quant \u00e0 la transformation du paysage \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique de l’Afrique.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Dangote a \u00e9galement d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que sa raffinerie pouvait r\u00e9pondre aux besoins en essence et en diesel de l’Afrique de l’Ouest, ainsi que r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande de carburant d’aviation du continent, a rapport\u00e9\u00a0Arise\u00a0.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00ab \u00c0 l’heure actuelle, le Nigeria n’a aucune raison d’importer autre chose que de l’essence et d’ici juin, dans les quatre ou cinq prochaines semaines, le Nigeria ne devrait plus rien importer d’essence ; pas une goutte de litre.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00ab Nous avons suffisamment d\u2019essence pour donner au moins toute l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest, et du diesel pour donner \u00e0 l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest et \u00e0 l\u2019Afrique centrale. Nous disposons de suffisamment de carburant d’aviation pour l’approvisionner sur tout le continent et nous en exportons \u00e9galement au Br\u00e9sil et au Mexique\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em>\u00a0a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Il a \u00e9galement ajout\u00e9 que le contenu arr\u00eatera bient\u00f4t l’importation d’engrais.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00ab Comme je l\u2019ai dit, donnez-nous trois ans ou quatre ans au maximum et l\u2019Afrique, je le r\u00e9p\u00e8te, n\u2019importera plus d\u2019engrais de nulle part. Nous rendrons l\u2019Afrique autosuffisante en potasse, en phosphate et en ur\u00e9e, nous en sommes \u00e0 trois millions de tonnes et dans les vingt prochains mois, nous serons \u00e0 six millions de tonnes d\u2019ur\u00e9e, soit la totalit\u00e9 de la capacit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00c9gypte. La raffinerie de Dangote a r\u00e9cemment \u00e9t\u00e9 class\u00e9e parmi\u00a0les 10 plus grandes installations de raffinage d’Europe . L’installation de 20,5 milliards de dollars a une capacit\u00e9 de traitement de 650 000 barils par jour.<\/p>\n

Pendant des d\u00e9cennies, le Nigeria a \u00e9t\u00e9 en proie \u00e0 des vols de p\u00e9trole et \u00e0 des actes de vandalisme sur les ol\u00e9oducs, qui ont entrav\u00e9 la capacit\u00e9 du pays \u00e0 respecter le quota d’approvisionnement quotidien de la raffinerie de Dangote, sa premi\u00e8re raffinerie indig\u00e8ne priv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
