La Libye a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 le Nigeria en tant que premier\u00a0<\/span>producteur africain de p\u00e9trole brut<\/span>\u00a0en mars, selon les donn\u00e9es de l’Organisation des pays exportateurs de p\u00e9trole (OPEP). Selon le rapport mensuel sur le march\u00e9 p\u00e9trolier (MOMR) d’avril 2024,\u00a0<\/span>la Libye<\/span>\u00a0a enregistr\u00e9 1,236 million de barils par jour (b\/j) de production de brut en mars, contre 1,173 million de b\/j en f\u00e9vrier.<\/span><\/p>\n

Parall\u00e8lement, le Nigeria a enregistr\u00e9 une production de 1,23 million de barils par jour en mars 2024, contre 1,32 b\/j en f\u00e9vrier 2024. Malgr\u00e9 une baisse de\u00a0<\/span>production<\/span>\u00a0de 6,8 pour cent, le Nigeria a conserv\u00e9 sa position de leader sur le continent, produisant 1,398 million de b\/j, tandis que la Libye a produit 1,161 millions de b\/j au cours de la p\u00e9riode.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00ab Selon des sources secondaires, la production totale de p\u00e9trole brut de l’OPEP-12 \u00e9tait en moyenne de 26,60 mb\/j en mars 2024, soit 3 tb\/j de plus, maman. La production de p\u00e9trole brut a augment\u00e9 principalement en R\u00e9publique islamique d\u2019Iran, en Arabie Saoudite, au Gabon et au Kowe\u00eft, tandis que la production au Nigeria, en Irak et au Venezuela a diminu\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Selon des communications directes de l’OPEP, la r\u00e9cente baisse de la production de brut du pays peut \u00eatre attribu\u00e9e \u00e0 une recrudescence des actes de vandalisme sur les pipelines et des vols de p\u00e9trole brut dans sa r\u00e9gion productrice de p\u00e9trole.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Les experts ont donn\u00e9 leur avis, affirmant que cela a conduit \u00e0 un d\u00e9clin de l’activit\u00e9 commerciale et \u00e0 une mod\u00e9ration des d\u00e9penses de consommation, \u00e0 une forte inflation des co\u00fbts des intrants et \u00e0 une baisse des niveaux d’emploi par rapport \u00e0 l’ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Par ailleurs, la raffinerie de p\u00e9trole\u00a0<\/span>Dangote<\/span>\u00a0au Nigeria a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 approvisionner le march\u00e9 local en produits p\u00e9troliers, une \u00e9tape majeure dans le cheminement du pays vers l’autosuffisance \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique. Devakumar Edwin, cadre du groupe Dangote, a confirm\u00e9 l’arriv\u00e9e de livraisons de diesel et de carbur\u00e9acteur sur le march\u00e9 local.<\/span><\/p>\n

Abubakar Maigandi, chef de l’Association ind\u00e9pendante des commer\u00e7ants p\u00e9troliers du Nigeria, a \u00e9galement d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les commer\u00e7ants locaux de p\u00e9trole \u00e9taient parvenus \u00e0 un accord sur le prix du diesel \u00e0 1 225 naira (0,96 $) le litre \u00e0 la suite d’un accord d’achat en gros.
