C\u2019est en 1968 que le r\u00e8gne pr\u00e9sidentiel de la famille Bongo a commenc\u00e9 avec pour t\u00eate de proue Omar Bongo. Celui qui deviendra en quelques ann\u00e9es le maillon fort de la Fran\u00e7afrique. Son influence \u00e9tait si \u00e9tablie qu\u2019il arrivait \u00e0 faire entendre sa voix dans la politique \u00e9trang\u00e8re, et surtout celle de la France avec qui il a entretenu des relations tr\u00e8s \u00e9troites.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e8s sa mort, son fils reprend imm\u00e9diatement les r\u00eanes du pays tel dans une dynastie. Il est aussi intronis\u00e9 \u00e0 la grande loge du Gabon en remplacement de son p\u00e8re qui la dirigeait des mains de \u00ab\u00a0Grand Maitre\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>1973 il se converti \u00e0 l\u2019Islam. Alain Bongo devient donc Ali Bongo. Il peut aussi \u00eatre qualifi\u00e9 de digne fils de sa m\u00e8re. Patience Dabany musicienne c\u00e9l\u00e8bre toujours en activit\u00e9. Car en 1977 exactement, Ali Bongo sort un album de musique aux influences classiques en particulier le disco et le jazz. L\u2019album \u00e9tait intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0a brand new man\u00a0\u00bb. Sa coupe de cheveux et sa posture rappelle son admiration pour James Brown.<\/p>\n<p>Et de toute \u00e9vidence, il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 produit par le manager de ce dernier du nom de Charles Bobbit. M\u00eame s\u2019il n\u2019a pas connu une grande carri\u00e8re dans ce domaine, il a gard\u00e9 son admiration pour la musique. Il a particip\u00e9 plusieurs fois sur les plateaux hip-hop des jeunes gabonais.
