Apr\u00e8s des mois de m\u00e9sentente, le Mali, le Burkina et le Niger ont pris la d\u00e9cision de partir de la CEDEAO dont ils \u00e9taient membres depuis la cr\u00e9ation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le Burkina Faso, le Mali et le Niger ont annonc\u00e9 ce dimanche 28 janvier leur \u00ab retrait sans d\u00e9lai \u00bb de la Communaut\u00e9 \u00e9conomique des \u00e9tats de l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019ouest (Cedeao). Une d\u00e9cision qui intervient dans un contexte de tensions croissantes entre ces trois pays et les instances dirigeantes de l&rsquo;organisation sous-r\u00e9gionale. Le communiqu\u00e9 lu par le Colonel Maiga pour le Mali, est assez univoque sur les raisons de ce retrait unilat\u00e9rale. Le Mali, le Burkina et le Niger ne veulent plus faire partie d&rsquo;une organisation qui ne cadre plus avec leurs aspirations.<\/p>\n<p>Selon le communiqu\u00e9, la CEDEAO est une organisation qui n&rsquo;a pas aid\u00e9 lesdits pays \u00e0 combattre le terrorisme et assurer la stabilit\u00e9 dans le Sahel. Une situation intol\u00e9rable doubl\u00e9e d&rsquo;un activisme brumeux de la CEDEAO. \u00ab\u00a0<em>\u2026En outre, la CEDEAO, sous l&rsquo;influence de puissances \u00e9trang\u00e8res, trahissant ses principes fondateurs, est devenue une menace pour ses Etats membres et ses populations dont elle est cens\u00e9e assurer le bonheur\u2026\u00a0\u00bb, <\/em>d\u00e9nonce le communiqu\u00e9 de retrait.<\/p>\n<p>Au regard de tous ces griefs, le Mali d&rsquo;Assimi Goita, le Niger de Tchiani et le Burkina\u00a0 de Traor\u00e9, sont arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 la conclusion qu&rsquo;ils n&rsquo;ont plus leurs places dans la CEDEAO. Apr\u00e8s 50 ans d&rsquo;existence; les trois chefs d&rsquo;Etat estiment que la CEDEAO n&rsquo;est plus en mesure de faire le bonheur des peuples. Tirant donc les cons\u00e9quences de cet \u00e9tat de fait, les trois Etats se retirent disent-ils avec \u00a0\u00bb effet imm\u00e9diat \u00ab\u00a0.Quelles sont les implications politiques et \u00e9conomiques de ce retrait unilat\u00e9ral ? Comment se d\u00e9roulera la coop\u00e9ration entre les Etats de la CEDEAO et ceux de l&rsquo;Alliance des Etats du Sahel ?
