Son histoire macabre remonte aux ann\u00e9es 1970.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un homme cynique, lugubre et compl\u00e8tement fou. Il n&rsquo; y a pas de mot assez fort pour caricaturer Charles Sobhraj qui vient d&rsquo;\u00eatre lib\u00e9r\u00e9 apr\u00e8s 19 ans de prison au N\u00e9pal. L&rsquo;histoire de ce tueur fran\u00e7ais d&rsquo;origine indienne e  vietnamienne est gla\u00e7ante. Elle est faite d&rsquo;effroi et de sang de ses victimes innocentes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meurtrier en s\u00e9rie dans plusieurs pays d\u2019Asie dans les ann\u00e9es 1970, le Fran\u00e7ais Charles Sobhraj a \u00e9t\u00e9  lib\u00e9r\u00e9 de sa prison au N\u00e9pal, selon une d\u00e9cision de la Cour supr\u00eame du pays, publi\u00e9e mercredi 21\u00a0d\u00e9cembre. Surnomm\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0le Serpent\u00a0\u00bb, la vie de ce criminel notoire a m\u00eame \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9peinte dans une s\u00e9rie \u00e0 succ\u00e8s sur Netflix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On l\u2019appelle\u00a0<em>\u00ab le Serpent \u00bb<\/em>,\u00a0<em>\u00ab le Cobra \u00bb<\/em>\u00a0ou\u00a0<em>\u00ab Bikini Killer \u00bb<\/em>. Charles Sobhraj, tueur fran\u00e7ais responsable d\u2019une s\u00e9rie de meurtres \u00e0 travers\u00a0en Asie\u00a0dans les ann\u00e9es 1970, \u00e2g\u00e9 de 78 ans a \u00e9t\u00e9 lib\u00e9r\u00e9 pour des raisons de sant\u00e9. Il \u00e9tait en prison depuis 2003 pour le meurtre de deux touristes nord-am\u00e9ricains. Il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 la prison \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuit\u00e9 au N\u00e9pal. Il est li\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de 20 meurtres en Asie. Il s\u00e9duisait ses victimes et les tuait dans les bois ou sur des plages \u00e9loign\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Charles Sobhraj avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 jug\u00e9 et emprisonn\u00e9 en 1976 pour deux meurtres de touristes am\u00e9ricains, ainsi que d\u2019un Isra\u00e9lien en Inde. Alors qu\u2019il risquait la prison \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuit\u00e9, il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 douze ans de prison. Incarc\u00e9r\u00e9 dans une prison indienne, \u00ab le Serpent \u00bb avait organis\u00e9 son \u00e9vasion peu de temps avant sa lib\u00e9ration en droguant les gardes, afin d\u2019\u00e9viter un mandat d\u2019extradition vers la Tha\u00eflande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il \u00e9tait r\u00e9apparu trois semaines plus tard dans la r\u00e9gion de Goa avant de retourner dans une prison indienne. Lib\u00e9r\u00e9 en 1997, il croit \u00eatre tir\u00e9 d&rsquo;affaire et s\u2019installe en France. Il se permet de retourner en Asie, au N\u00e9pal pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment o\u00f9 il est arr\u00eat\u00e9 et r\u00e9incarc\u00e9r\u00e9 en 2003.
