Une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente qui met en cause l\u2019action n\u00e9gative de la pollution au diesel sur le sang des f\u0153tus vient renforcer cette recommandation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Une nouvelle \u00e9tude confirme que les femmes enceintes doivent \u00eatre encore plus vigilantes que les autres. La raison est toute simple. Des nanoparticules \u00e9mises par les gaz d\u2019\u00e9chappement des v\u00e9hicules diesel peuvent aussi atteindre le placenta et donc le sang des f\u0153tus. Cela signifie que lors des pics de pollution aux particules fines, les femmes enceintes et leurs b\u00e9b\u00e9s \u00e0 na\u00eetre sont les plus expos\u00e9s. C\u2019est d\u2019autant plus inqui\u00e9tant alors que ces pics de pollution sont de plus en plus fr\u00e9quents et intenses.<\/p>\n<p>Cela dit, le message n\u2019est pas nouveau.<\/p>\n<p>En effet, de r\u00e9centes donn\u00e9es \u00e9pid\u00e9miologiques ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les femmes enceintes expos\u00e9es avaient plus de risque d\u2019avoir des b\u00e9b\u00e9s de poids faible.<\/p>\n<p>Les premiers r\u00e9sultats d\u2019un projet de recherche coordonn\u00e9 par l\u2019Inra montrent chez l\u2019animal en gestation que l\u2019exposition maternelle continue aux gaz d\u2019\u00e9chappement de moteur diesel entraine des effets d\u00e9l\u00e9t\u00e8res sur la croissance et le m\u00e9tabolisme des f\u0153tus.<\/p>\n<p>Les scientifiques \u00e9tablissent aussi pour la premi\u00e8re fois que les nanoparticules de diesel inhal\u00e9es sont capables de traverser la barri\u00e8re placentaire et d\u2019atteindre le sang du f\u0153tus. A la moiti\u00e9 de la gestation, des signes de croissance f\u0153tale ont \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9es. A terme, la longueur de la t\u00eate des f\u0153tus \u00e9taient diminu\u00e9e et leur tour de taille \u00e9tait r\u00e9duit, en accord avec les observations faites chez les hommes.<\/p>\n<p>Cette \u00e9tude a associ\u00e9 l\u2019Inra, l\u2019Inserm, la fondation PremUp, l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Grenoble Alpes, l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Paris Sud et l\u2019Institute of Risk Assessment Sciences de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Utrecht.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Il est particuli\u00e8rement recommand\u00e9 aux femmes enceintes de faire plus attention lors des pics de pollution en limitant par exemple les d\u00e9placements.
