Des groupes de d\u00e9fense des droits de l’homme ont critiqu\u00e9 le syst\u00e8me judiciaire saoudien apr\u00e8s qu’un rapport a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que plus de 100 personnes avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 ex\u00e9cut\u00e9es en 2022 – ramenant le nombre de d\u00e9c\u00e8s aux niveaux d’avant Covid<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’Arabie saoudite est sur le point de conna\u00eetre une ann\u00e9e record d’ex\u00e9cutions sanglantes, le nombre atteignant d\u00e9j\u00e0 120 cette ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le taux de peine de mort dans le pays a d\u00e9j\u00e0 augment\u00e9 au cours du premier semestre de l’ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 la suite du massacre massif de prisonniers – souvent pour des crimes non mortels, comme la campagne pour la d\u00e9mocratie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les statistiques d\u00e9courageantes ont d\u00e9clench\u00e9 de nouvelles alertes de la part des groupes de d\u00e9fense des droits de l’homme, qui craignent que l’augmentation soudaine ne voie l’Arabie saoudite battre son record actuel de 186 d\u00e9c\u00e8s en 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’Organisation europ\u00e9enne saoudienne des droits de l’homme a d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 le syst\u00e8me judiciaire pour ne pas avoir r\u00e9duit le nombre de tortures et de meurtres, rapporte The Mirror . <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cela survient alors que le groupe a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les meurtres entre janvier et juin d\u00e9montrent une augmentation choquante de 80% des ex\u00e9cutions par rapport \u00e0 2021 \u2013 avec plus qu’en 2020 et 2021 combin\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’ESOHR affirme que le manque de transparence du syst\u00e8me signifie qu’ils n’ont appris les meurtres qu’apr\u00e8s qu’ils aient eu lieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans son rapport, le groupe a attir\u00e9 l’attention sur la d\u00e9capitation massive de 81 criminels le 12 mars \u2013 lorsque plus de 70% des victimes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9es pour leur implication dans des crimes non mortels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sur le nombre total de personnes tu\u00e9es, 41 hommes – plus de 50 % – ont \u00e9t\u00e9 massacr\u00e9s pour avoir particip\u00e9 \u00e0 des manifestations pro-d\u00e9mocratie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour justifier les tueries , les dirigeants saoudiens ont qualifi\u00e9 les hommes de \u00ab\u00a0terroristes\u00a0\u00bb avant de les mettre devant leurs bourreaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’ESOHR a rapport\u00e9 qu’au moins trois des hommes ont fourni des all\u00e9gations cr\u00e9dibles selon lesquelles ils avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 tortur\u00e9s et leurs aveux forc\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sur 120 envoy\u00e9s pour mourir, 101 \u00e9taient des ressortissants saoudiens, les 19 autres comprenant neuf Y\u00e9m\u00e9nites, trois \u00c9gyptiens, deux Indon\u00e9siens et un \u00ab\u00a0citoyen d’\u00c9thiopie, du Myanmar, de Jordanie, de Palestine et de Syrie\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La grande majorit\u00e9 d’entre eux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0jug\u00e9s et ex\u00e9cut\u00e9s pour des crimes punitifs\u00a0\u00bb malgr\u00e9 les promesses du prince h\u00e9ritier Mohammed bin Salman de r\u00e9duire la s\u00e9v\u00e9rit\u00e9 de la peine pour ces accusations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quarante et un ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9s pour avoir exerc\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0des droits fondamentaux, y compris la participation \u00e0 des manifestations\u00a0\u00bb, ajoute le rapport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

37 autres condamn\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pass\u00e9s au fil de l’\u00e9p\u00e9e pour des crimes \u00ab\u00a0inconnus\u00a0\u00bb, selon le rapport, affirmant que cela \u00ab\u00a0refl\u00e8te le manque de transparence du syst\u00e8me judiciaire saoudien\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le rapport se lit comme suit : \u00ab\u00a0L’Arabie saoudite continue de pratiquer syst\u00e9matiquement de nombreuses violations des droits de l’homme, notamment des disparitions forc\u00e9es et la torture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0Les violations s’accompagnent d’un m\u00e9pris des obligations, comme l’Arabie saoudite ignore une demande de visite soumise par la d\u00e9cision sur la torture il y a 16 ans.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 l’heure actuelle, deux jeunes Bahre\u00efnis risquent d’\u00eatre ex\u00e9cut\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re imminente parce qu’ils ont avou\u00e9 apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 tortur\u00e9s, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 l’ESOHR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
