Les membres de l’UE n\u00e9gocient actuellement une proposition d’embargo sur le p\u00e9trole russe, mais les discussions ont \u00e9chou\u00e9 cette semaine en raison du veto de la Hongrie, qui d\u00e9pend fortement des importations de p\u00e9trole russe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M. Poutine a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les discussions sur un \u00e9ventuel embargo avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 provoqu\u00e9 une hausse des prix mondiaux du p\u00e9trole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S’adressant aux chefs p\u00e9troliers et aux responsables gouvernementaux russes, lors d’une allocution t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9e le mardi 17 mai, \u00e0 propos de l’impact des sanctions occidentales sur l’industrie \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, M. Poutine a affirm\u00e9 que les sanctions d\u00e9coulant de l’invasion de l’Ukraine par la Russie le 24 f\u00e9vrier avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 impos\u00e9es par l’Occident pour des raisons politiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u2019apr\u00e8s le pr\u00e9sident Poutine, ce serait impossible pour certains pays europ\u00e9ens, qui sont fortement d\u00e9pendants de l’\u00e9nergie en provenance de Russie, de se passer compl\u00e8tement du p\u00e9trole russe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Bien s\u00fbr, un tel suicide \u00e9conomique est une affaire int\u00e9rieure des pays europ\u00e9ens. Il est \u00e9vident que certains \u00c9tats de l’UE, dans la balance \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique desquels la part des hydrocarbures russes est particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9lev\u00e9e, ne seront pas en mesure de le faire avant longtemps, de se passer de notre p\u00e9trole. L’Europe en paiera le prix \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Poutine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selon lui, en abandonnant les approvisionnements \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques russes, l’Europe risque de payer les prix de l’\u00e9nergie les plus chers au monde \u00e0 long terme, tandis que la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 de son industrie sera mise \u00e0 mal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Il y a des changements tectoniques sur le march\u00e9 du p\u00e9trole, et faire des affaires comme avant, selon l’ancien mod\u00e8le, semble peu probable \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Poutine, ajoutant qu’il \u00e9tait important de mettre en place une cha\u00eene compl\u00e8te du producteur \u00e0 l’acheteur final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
