Cet appel s&rsquo;inscrit dans le contexte de l\u2019affaire du \u00ab\u00a0chantage \u00e0 la s3xtape\u00a0\u00bb, exerc\u00e9 sur son ancien co\u00e9quipier Mathieu Valbuena en 2015. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le 24 novembre 2021, le tribunal correctionnel de Versailles avait reconnu  Karim Benzema coupable de complicit\u00e9 de tentative de chantage sur son ex-co\u00e9quipier Mathieu Valbuena. Axel Angot, \u00e0 qui Mathieu Valbuena avait confi\u00e9 son t\u00e9l\u00e9phone, a \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 deux ans de prison. Il avait trouv\u00e9 la vid\u00e9o et l\u2019avait conserv\u00e9e en vue d\u2019une utilisation ult\u00e9rieure. Son comparse Mustapha Zouaoui, consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme le \u00ab\u00a0<em>cordon ombilical<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb de cette affaire, a lui \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 une peine de deux ans et demi de prison ferme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contre un premier interm\u00e9diaire, Younes Houass, qui est rentr\u00e9 en contact t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique avec Mathieu Valbuena pour lui parler de la s3xtape, le tribunal a prononc\u00e9 une peine de 18 mois d\u2019emprisonnement avec sursis.
