Selon le journal priv\u00e9 NewsDay, un chauffeur du nom Joseph Chakanetsa vient d\u2019\u00eatre condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 deux ans de prison, pour conduite n\u00e9gligente pour ne pas avoir laiss\u00e9 passer, samedi dernier, l’escorte de Robert Mugabe qui ramenait le pr\u00e9sident chez lui dans le quartier chic de Borrowdale.<\/p>\n

Le chauffeur routier a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 interdit \u00e0 vie de conduire un poids lourd par le tribunal d’Harare, jeudi. \u00ab\u00a0M. Chakanetsa a \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9 apr\u00e8s avoir plaid\u00e9 coupable. Il a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 la cour qu’il n’avait pas r\u00e9alis\u00e9 qu’il s’agissait de l’escorte pr\u00e9sidentielle derri\u00e8re son camion\u00a0\u00bb, explique le journal.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Il a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que le bruit de son camion l’a emp\u00each\u00e9 d’entendre les sir\u00e8nes de police. Et lorsqu’il a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 qu’il \u00e9tait au milieu du convoi pr\u00e9sidentiel, il a litt\u00e9ralement perdu la t\u00eate\u00a0\u00bb, poursuit le quotidien.Le chauffeur a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9 10 kilom\u00e8tres plus loin apr\u00e8s avoir tent\u00e9 de s’enfuir en grillant plusieurs feux rouge et en empruntant des sens interdits.<\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9sident Mugabe se d\u00e9place avec un convoi de 10 voitures et motos et les conducteurs qui perturbent l’escorte risquent l’arrestation ou encore d’\u00eatre pass\u00e9s \u00e0 tabac par ses services de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
