Une sc\u00e8ne dramatique s’est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e dans le comt\u00e9 de Trans Nzoia au Kenya le mercredi 26 janvier, lorsqu’un homme accus\u00e9 d’avoir vol\u00e9 du b\u00e9tail a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 marcher comme un b\u0153uf et \u00e0 manger de l’herbe le long de l’autoroute Kitale-Eldoret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter Wafula, un t\u00e9moin, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 K24 Digital que l’homme \u00e9tait soup\u00e7onn\u00e9 d’\u00eatre membre d’un gang criminel qui volait du b\u00e9tail et cambriolait des magasins \u00e0 Trans Nzoia. Wafula a not\u00e9 que l’incident s’est produit deux semaines apr\u00e8s qu’un fermier de la r\u00e9gion de Shimo la Tewa a perdu son taureau. Les voleurs l’ont abattu dans une for\u00eat voisine. Il a affirm\u00e9 que le fermier avait promis de donner une le\u00e7on aux voleurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Le t\u00e9moin oculaire a dit :\u00a0\u00abLe fermier \u00e9tait tellement en col\u00e8re qu’il a promis de donner aux coupables une le\u00e7on de vie. Cela pourrait \u00eatre l’une des le\u00e7ons promises \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simon Maingi, un autre t\u00e9moin, a affirm\u00e9 qu’au moment de l’incident, l’accus\u00e9 ne pouvait pas parler et que leurs efforts pour l’emp\u00eacher de manger de l’herbe n’ont port\u00e9 aucun fruit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maingi a dit: \u00abNous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 choqu\u00e9s de le voir marcher comme un b\u0153uf et le pire, c’est qu’il mangeait de l’herbe.  Nous avons essay\u00e9 de lui parler mais l’homme \u00e9tait incapable de parler \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le t\u00e9moin oculaire a en outre r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que l’accus\u00e9 se dirigeait vers la direction o\u00f9 le taureau aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 abattu, un mouvement qui, selon lui, l’a li\u00e9 au vol pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent que le fermier a subi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
