Ce sont des pauvres gens qui ne cherchent qu&rsquo;\u00e0 gagner de quoi se nourrir!\u00a0\u00bb, murmuraient plus d&rsquo;un dans la salle d&rsquo;audience, surpris de voir deux personnes \u00e0 la barre, pour r\u00e9pondre des faits de mendicit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Effectivement c&rsquo;est un d\u00e9lit dans le code p\u00e9nal ivoirien. A l&rsquo;appel de leur nom donc, Abdou S. et Aboubacar A. se pr\u00e9sentent devant le juge. Ils sont jeunes et apparemment bien portants. Mais ils mendient. \u00ab\u00a0On dit que vous \u00eates mendiants\u00a0\u00bb, leur dit le juge. Mais les deux pr\u00e9venus se regardent, ne semblant pas comprendre.<\/p>\n<p>Ce sont des jeunes Nig\u00e9riens arriv\u00e9s fraichement en C\u00f4te d&rsquo;Ivoire. Ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pris dans la rue en train de mendier. \u00ab\u00a0Arr\u00eatez de mendier. Vous avez compris?\u00a0\u00bb leur r\u00e9p\u00e8te le juge. Mais les pr\u00e9venus qui ne comprennent apparemment pas fran\u00e7ais restent muets. Le procureur a alors requis 3 mois de prison avec sursis \u00e0 leur encontre. Le juge va suivre le procureur. Il conseillera aux pr\u00e9venus de chercher \u00e0 exercer un autre m\u00e9tier.
