Sept fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs du Kenya ont refus\u00e9 d’enterrer leur fr\u00e8re d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 il y a deux ans, parce qu’il les a abandonn\u00e9s de son vivant et a dilapid\u00e9 ses richesses.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selon The Standard, Cl\u00e9ment Kariuki Kiraihira est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 en 2019 \u00e0 l’\u00e2ge de 69 ans et depuis lors, son corps repose \u00e0 la morgue de l’h\u00f4pital Consolata Mathari \u00e0 Nyeri, apr\u00e8s que ses fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs ont affirm\u00e9 avoir reni\u00e9 son corps tout comme il les a abandonn\u00e9s. Les fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l’homme avait vendu l’int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 de ses terres h\u00e9rit\u00e9es et gaspill\u00e9 l’\u00e9norme produit avec une femme dont ils savaient seulement qu’elle \u00e9tait originaire de Meru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNotre p\u00e8re avait ordonn\u00e9 qu’il (Karimi) n’obtienne pas un pouce de la terre restante. Il avait vendu sa terre et abus\u00e9 de l’argent\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 l’une de ses s\u0153urs, Beatrice Ngima, 53 ans. Elle a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que leur p\u00e8re avait mis en garde le d\u00e9funt contre la vente de sa part de terre \u00e0 des personnes non apparent\u00e9es, mais il l’a ignor\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re flagrante et a fait exactement le contraire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs de Karimi ne croient donc pas qu’il m\u00e9rite un enterrement d\u00e9cent et ne sont pas pr\u00eats \u00e0 utiliser leur argent durement gagn\u00e9 pour son enterrement. Pour sa part, Ngima a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que malgr\u00e9 les appels de l’h\u00f4pital et des administrateurs locaux pour qu’ils enterrent l’homme de 69 ans, ils pensent qu’il est un enfant du gouvernement et devrait \u00eatre enterr\u00e9 par l’\u00c9tat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ann Wahito, 50 ans, a r\u00e9it\u00e9r\u00e9 que leur fr\u00e8re s’\u00e9tait d\u00e9tach\u00e9 de leur vie et vivait grand avec un m\u00e9pris total pour eux. \u201cJe suis veuve et je ne peux pas me permettre de l’enterrer. Le gouvernement devrait se saisir de l’affaire et l’enterrer\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9. Les fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs ont d\u00e9fi\u00e9 tous les ordres du gouvernement et de l’h\u00f4pital d’enterrer Karimi et m\u00eame si la facture de la morgue d\u00e9passe le demi-million, ils restent in\u00e9branlables.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selon la famille, Karimi a re\u00e7u sa part de terrain dans la colonie de Lusoi dans les ann\u00e9es 1970 et il a aussit\u00f4t commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 vendre les parcelles de terrain \u00e0 chaque acheteur consentant. Il vivait sur la voie rapide et fr\u00e9quentait toujours les lieux de divertissement \u00e0 Nyeri et dans les comt\u00e9s voisins. Il avait aussi une femme de Meru avec qui ils profitaient de l’argent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
