en tant que femme la plus grande du monde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rumeysa Gelgi, 24 ans, de la province de Karab\u00fck, mesure 2m15, ce qui lui a valu une nouvelle entr\u00e9e dans le&nbsp;livre Guinness des records en&nbsp;tant que \u00ab femme vivante la plus grande \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elle souffre d&rsquo;une maladie&nbsp;g\u00e9n\u00e9tique&nbsp;exceptionnellement rare&nbsp;appel\u00e9e syndrome de Weaver, qui a acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 sa croissance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce n&rsquo;est pas non plus la premi\u00e8re fois qu&rsquo;elle trouve son nom dans le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre livre des records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 couronn\u00e9e \u00ab&nbsp;adolescente la plus grande du monde&nbsp;\u00bb en 2014 et a utilis\u00e9 la renomm\u00e9e que cela lui a donn\u00e9 pour attirer l&rsquo;attention du public sur la vie d&rsquo;autres personnes atteintes de maladies rares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img  title=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" \u00e9tat, Mme Gelgi utilise principalement un fauteuil roulant, mais peut \u00e9galement se d\u00e9placer \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un d\u00e9ambulateur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Son syndrome de Weaver signifie \u00e9galement qu&rsquo;elle a certaines caract\u00e9ristiques plus grandes que d&rsquo;habitude, comme ses mains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ceci, avec sa stature impressionnante, signifie qu&rsquo;elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 victime de taquineries et d&rsquo;abus de la part du public dans le pass\u00e9, mais elle dit acc\u00e8s facile aux hauteurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C\u00e9l\u00e9brant son retour dans leur catalogue de records mondiaux, Guinness World Records a fait l&rsquo;\u00e9loge de oreilles inhabituellement grandes.&nbsp;Seulement 50 cas ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9s dans la litt\u00e9rature m\u00e9dicale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La femme la plus grande jamais enregistr\u00e9e est Zeng Jinlian, de la province de Hunan, en Chine, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9e \u00e0 2m46 en 1982.
