Le pr\u00e9sident de l’UEFA Michel Platini, a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 sa d\u00e9mission, lundi 09 mai, arguant vouloir continuer son combat devant les tribunaux suisses. Platini se dit victime d’une profonde injustice apr\u00e8s sept heures d’audition.\u00a0Le tribunal reconnait Michel Platini coupable de conflit d’int\u00e9r\u00eat pour cette r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration de 1,8 million d’euros..<\/p>\n

Un panel du Tribunal Arbitral du Sport (TAS) a r\u00e9duit sa suspension de six \u00e0 quatre ans. Suite \u00e0 la d\u00e9cision, l’homme de 60 ans a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de rendre sa d\u00e9mission.<\/p>\n

Platini et son ancien homologue de la Fifa, Sepp Blatter, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 l’an dernier reconnu coupables de violation d’\u00e9thique sur \u00abPaiement d\u00e9loyal\u00bb de\u00a02 millions de francs suisse.<\/p>\n

Platini avait cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 obtenir un renversement de l’interdiction, mais un groupe de trois hommes du TAS a dit qu’il \u00ab\u00a0n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 convaincu par la l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9 du paiement\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Les deux disent que le paiement en 2011 a \u00e9t\u00e9 fait pour le travail de conseil que Platini avait r\u00e9alis\u00e9 pour Blatter entre 1998 et 2002, et qu’ils avaient eu un accord lorsque le reste a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9gl\u00e9.
\nLa question est \u00e9galement examin\u00e9e par les procureurs suisses.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s que le TAS ait rendu son jugement, Platini a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 dans un communiqu\u00e9: \u00abJe d\u00e9missionne de mes fonctions en tant que pr\u00e9sident de l’UEFA pour poursuivre mon combat devant les tribunaux suisses pour prouver mon innocence dans cette affaire\u00a0\u00bb. <\/em>Il a ajout\u00e9 qu’il consid\u00e9rait le jugement comme \u00ab\u00a0une profonde injustice\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n
