Cette annonce intervient 48h apr\u00e8s la rencontre historique entre Alassane Ouattara et son rival Laurent Gbagbo aux \u00e9lections de novembre 2010. Des \u00e9lections qui avaient conduit \u00e0 une grave crise post-\u00e9lectorale.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simone Gbagbo n&rsquo;est plus poursuivie par la Cour P\u00e9nale Internationale. C&rsquo;est l&rsquo;heureuse nouvelle que l&rsquo;ex-premi\u00e8re Dame et son avocat Me Dadj\u00e9 Rodrigue ont accueilli il y a quelques heures. La CPI a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de renoncer \u00e0 poursuivre Simone Gbagbo contre laquelle un mandat d&rsquo;arr\u00eat international avait \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es. Ce mandat d&rsquo;arr\u00eat avait buter sur la volont\u00e9 affich\u00e9e par Alassane Ouattara de ne plus transf\u00e9rer un citoyen ivoirien devant la juridiction p\u00e9nale internationale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab\u00a0<em>LA CHAMBRE PAR LA PR\u00c9SENTE\u00a0ACCORDE la demande\u00a0;ORDONNE que le mandat d\u2019arr\u00eat contre Simone Gbagbo cesse d\u2019avoir effet ; ORDONNE au Procureur, au plus tard une semaine \u00e0 compter de la notification de cette\u00a0d\u00e9cision, soit pour confirmer que cette d\u00e9cision et la Demande peuvent \u00eatre faites\u00a0public, ou d\u2019indiquer un d\u00e9lai dans lequel des informations compl\u00e9mentaires pertinentes \u00e0 cette fin deviendrait disponible; et\u00a0ORDONNE au registraire, d\u00e8s que possible une fois cette d\u00e9cision rendue publique,\u00a0d\u2019informer tous les \u00c9tats qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 notifi\u00e9s du mandat d\u2019arr\u00eat contre Simone\u00a0Gbagbo que le mandat d\u2019arr\u00eat n\u2019est plus en vigueur et de retirer les\u00a0demandes<\/em> <em>d\u2019arrestation et de remise<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb, stipule l&rsquo;arr\u00eat de la CPI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simone Gbagbo \u00e9tait recherch\u00e9e par la CPI dans le cadre des \u00e9v\u00e8nements qui ont eu lieu lors de la crise post\u00e9lectorale de 2010-2011. Le mandat de la CPI contre Simone Gbagbo \u00e9tait devenu incongru dans la mesure o\u00f9 Laurent Gbagbo, pr\u00e9sident de la r\u00e9publique \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque des faits, inculp\u00e9 et jug\u00e9, avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9finitivement acquitt\u00e9 par la Cour P\u00e9nale Internationale, le 31 mars 2021.
