Voici l’histoire bouleversante\u00a0de ce jeune gar\u00e7on nig\u00e9rian rebaptis\u00e9 Hope (Espoir en Anglais) apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0recueilli dans la rue par\u00a0la responsable d’une\u00a0Fondation danoise pour l’\u00e9ducation et l’aide au d\u00e9veloppement des enfants d’Afrique<\/strong><\/p>\n

D\u00e8s qu’il eut ses 24 mois, cette innocente cr\u00e9ature \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 accus\u00e9e de sorcellerie par sa famille et ses proches. Selon camer.be, \u00a0Il\u00a0suffit qu’un enfant pleure trop pour qu’il soit soup\u00e7onn\u00e9 d’\u00eatre sorcier. Ceux ci l’abandonnent dans la rue, tout seul, \u00e0 la merci de la nature. Le petit gar\u00e7on survivra pendant plus de 8 mois, se nourrissant de ce que des rares passants moins superstitieux lui jetaient \u00e0 manger. Nous apprend le site\u00a0aufeminin.com<\/p>\n

Au mois de Janvier, \u00a0Anja Ringgren Loven,\u00a0la directrice de la Fondation danoise, le d\u00e9couvre dans les rues d’Abuja, affam\u00e9, ch\u00e9tif, compl\u00e8tement affaibli et tr\u00e8s malade. Elle le recueille, lui donne \u00e0 manger et \u00e0 boire avant de l’envoyer \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital.\u00a0 \u00ab\u00a0Quand je l’ai vu, mon sang s’est glac\u00e9 tellement j’\u00e9tais choqu\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb,<\/strong><\/em> raconte-t-elle aux m\u00e9dias danois.<\/p>\n

Les photos de son secours \u00a0ont fait le tour des r\u00e9seaux sociaux\u00a0. On y voit Anja Loven aider \u00a0l’enfant, \u00a0en lui donnant \u00e0\u00a0boire et des biscuits pour qu’il reprenne des forces avant d’\u00eatre emmen\u00e9 pour recevoir des soins.<\/p>\n

Aujourd’hui l’enfant dont l’\u00e2ge varie entre 2 et 3 ans (difficile d’estimer plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment son \u00e2ge \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 son important retard de croissance) \u00e9tait, selon les t\u00e9moignages\u00a0plus \u00ab\u00a0mort que vivant\u00a0\u00bb. Les m\u00e9decins apprennent que le petit gar\u00e7on qui avait l’estomac bourr\u00e9 de vers, n’aurait pas surv\u00e9cu quelques jours de plus.<\/p>\n

Depuis sa prise en charge par la fondation, le petit gar\u00e7on d\u00e9sormais appel\u00e9 Hope, recouvre le meilleur de sa forme. \u00ab\u00a0Son \u00e9tat est d\u00e9sormais stable<\/em>, \u00e9crit la directrice. Il a assez de force pour\u00a0 se lever et nous sourire. C’est un petit gar\u00e7on tr\u00e8s fort !<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0. t\u00e9moigne\u00a0Anja Loven<\/p>\n

Le cas de cet\u00a0enfant a provoqu\u00e9 une grosse vague d’indignation pour certains et de g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 pour d’autres. Devant l’appel de la fondation,\u00a0\u00a0plusieurs\u00a0internautes et \u00e2mes g\u00e9n\u00e9reuses ont fait\u00a0des dons. Environ 133 000\u20ac ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9colt\u00e9s pour soutenir les actions de la fondation qui apprend que des milliers d’autres enfants sont dans des situations similaires \u00e0 celle d’Hope.\u00a0 Anja Loven esp\u00e8re pouvoir construire une clinique dans laquelle ces enfants rejet\u00e9s et en danger pourront \u00eatre directement soign\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
