Laurent Gbagbo \u00e9tait attendu au pavillon pr\u00e9sidentiel \u00e0 lui c\u00e9der par Alassane Ouattara pour son retour. Contre toute attente, l’ex-chef de l’Etat a pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 arriver \u00e0 Abidjan comme tout citoyen lambda. Lucarne sur une volte-face de derni\u00e8re minute qui a chamboul\u00e9 tout le protocole de son accueil.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laurent Gbagbo apparait comme tout voyageur \u00e0 l’a\u00e9roport Houphou\u00ebt-Boigny. La sc\u00e8ne est des plus insolites et a provoqu\u00e9 un branle-bas de combat au sein de l’a\u00e9roport. Les agents de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 qui ne s’attendaient pas \u00e0 lui en ces lieux sont oblig\u00e9s d’improviser une sorte de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 rapproch\u00e9e pour lui faire descendre les marches qui conduisent au contr\u00f4le des passeports. Derri\u00e8re cet acte s’est jou\u00e9, en fait, la premi\u00e8re bataille politique d\u00e9guis\u00e9e entre Ouattara et Gbagbo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De quoi s’agit-il ? Depuis la nuit du 16 juin, des b\u00e2ches avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9es dans le parking du pavillon pr\u00e9sidentiel. Elles devaient abriter les personnalit\u00e9s qui allaient accueillir Gbagbo \u00e0 sa sortie du pavillon. Tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t, ce lieu s’est av\u00e9r\u00e9 exigu. De sorte qu’une quarantaine de journalistes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pri\u00e9s de d\u00e9gager les lieux \u00e0 leur grand dam. Lorsqu’il sort de l’avion, des personnes de son entourage lui auraient rapidement expliqu\u00e9 que l’acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l’a\u00e9roport a \u00e9t\u00e9 interdit \u00e0 ses partisans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pire, ces derniers sont gaz\u00e9s et bless\u00e9s avant m\u00eame qu’il n’ait d\u00e9coll\u00e9 de Bruxelles. A 76 ans, Laurent Gbagbo n’a pas perdu ses reflexes de tacticien politique. Tr\u00e8s vite, Gbagbo comprend que Ouattara lui donne quelque chose de la main droite et la reprend de la main gauche. En effet, en accordant le pavillon pr\u00e9sidentiel, Ouattara montre dans un premier temps qu’il est dans de bonnes dispositions d’esprit sur le retour de son adversaire. Derri\u00e8re, il refuse tout accueil populaire et \u00e0 l’a\u00e9roport, mais on le verra sur le terrain, et pas m\u00eame le long du Boulevard Valery Giscard-D’ Estaing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En un mot comme en mille, Ouattara ne voulait pas d’un accueil populaire et triomphal pour Laurent Gbagbo. La r\u00e9pression qui s’est abattue sur les partisans de Laurent Gbagbo de la matin\u00e9e jusqu’\u00e0 17H30 en est la preuve vivante. Puisque syst\u00e9matiquement les personnes qui se pr\u00e9sentaient sur le boulevard \u00e9taient imm\u00e9diatement gaz\u00e9es. Le sang de \u00ab\u00a0l’animal politique\u00a0\u00bb qu’est Gbagbo n’a fait qu’un tour. Si Ouattara ne veut pas d’un accueil populaire, autant garder son pavillon pr\u00e9sidentiel. Gbagbo va donc cr\u00e9er l’incident. Et reprendre la main, en se prenant un bain de foule en citoyen lambda avec des personnes ordinaires. Ne se d\u00e9finit-il pas comme le fils du peuple ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le pi\u00e8ge du pavillon pr\u00e9sidentiel de Ouattara dont la bonne foi serait mise en exergue, si Gbagbo \u00e9tait pass\u00e9 par le pavillon pr\u00e9sidentiel devient du coup inop\u00e9rant. Pourquoi Gbagbo n’est pas pass\u00e9 au pavillon prend le dessus sur le storytelling qui devait se lire en faveur de Ouattara dans des officines d\u00e9di\u00e9es.
