Selon l\u2019ICCO, elle pourrait se situer \u00e0 plus de 5&nbsp;000 000 de tonnes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019Organisation internationale du cacao (ICCO) s\u2019est voulue clair et pr\u00e9cise\u00a0: l\u2019on s\u2019achemine vers une production mondiale de cacao record, avec tout l\u2019impact que cela pourra avoir sur les cours. Dans ses derni\u00e8res statistiques trimestrielles, l\u2019ICCO r\u00e9vise \u00e0 la hausse ses estimations d\u2019exc\u00e9dent de cacao sur la campagne 2020-21 en cours. Il serait de 165 000 tonnes (t) au lieu des 102 000 t estim\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notons qu\u2019en 2019-20, l\u2019exc\u00e9dent \u00e9tait marginal, de l\u2019ordre de 10 000 t. L\u2019app\u00e9tit du monde pour les produits chocolat\u00e9s va grandissant. Les producteurs mondiaux de cacao font des pieds et des mains pour satisfaire cette demande de plus en plus en forte croissance. C\u2019est pourquoi, depuis des ann\u00e9es, la production mondiale ne fl\u00e9chit pas, malgr\u00e9 les al\u00e9as.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Les cours impact\u00e9s<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Une production qui caracole, alors que la consommation, certes, progresse, mais pas au m\u00eame rythme. La r\u00e9colte mondiale atteindrait 5,02 millions de tonnes (Mt), soit une hausse de 6,3% Sur ces 5,02 Mt, la C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire atteindrait un record de 2,225 Mt. L\u2019Afrique est le continent qui apportera la grosse part de cette production mondiale. Le continent contribuera en effet \u00e0 au moins 77% de cette production. La C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, le Ghana et le Cameroun sont essentiellement les \u00c9tats africains qui ont crev\u00e9 les plafonds. L\u2019Am\u00e9rique ne fournira que 17% de cette production mondiale contre seulement 6% pour l\u2019Oc\u00e9anie et l\u2019Asie. Avec un tel niveau de production, les craintes d\u2019une nouvelle chute du prix du kilogramme de cacao pour la prochaine campagne se trouve justifi\u00e9es. Et l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les choses s\u2019annoncent tr\u00e8s cors\u00e9es, c\u2019est que la menace de la Covid-19 persiste. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si la demande n\u2019\u00e9volue pas, la campagne prochaine (qui d\u00e9bute en octobre) est de facto menac\u00e9e, avec une possibilit\u00e9 de chute drastique du prix. C\u00f4t\u00e9 broyages, une nette progression est observ\u00e9e, ce qui est d\u00e9j\u00e0 un bon chose vu l\u2019impact de la pand\u00e9mie. Mais seulement de 3%, estime l\u2019ICCO, \u00e0 4,81 Mt. Elle ne retrouve donc pas encore la vigueur d\u2019avant la Covid-19. Si certains estiment que les cours n\u2019auront pas d\u2019incidence sur les planteurs, soutenus par les gouvernants, d\u2019autres sont pessimistes au regard de la r\u00e9cente crise des prix bords champ que la fili\u00e8re a connu lors de la campagne 2019-2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La production mondiale de f\u00e8ves de cacao devrait atteindre un record au terme de la campagne 2020-2021.
