{"id":272533,"date":"2021-05-22T11:26:09","date_gmt":"2021-05-22T11:26:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/afrikmag.com\/var\/www\/vhosts\/afrikmag.compublic_html\/?p=272533"},"modified":"2021-05-22T11:26:20","modified_gmt":"2021-05-22T11:26:20","slug":"davantage-de-patients-atteints-de-la-covid-19-mourront-en-afrique-selon-une-nouvelle-etude","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/afrikmag.com\/var\/www\/vhosts\/afrikmag.compublic_html\/davantage-de-patients-atteints-de-la-covid-19-mourront-en-afrique-selon-une-nouvelle-etude\/","title":{"rendered":"Davantage de patients atteints de la Covid-19 mourront en Afrique selon une nouvelle \u00e9tude"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon une nouvelle \u00e9tude, les patients atteints de la Covid-19, risquent davantage de mourir en Afrique que dans toute autre r\u00e9gion du monde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;\u00e9tude publi\u00e9e par The Lancet attribue ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne \u00e0 la p\u00e9nurie d&rsquo;\u00e9quipements cruciaux dans les h\u00f4pitaux, qui permettent de sauver des vies, ainsi qu&rsquo;au manque de personnel sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Environ 48 % des patients gravement malades admis dans un h\u00f4pital en Afrique meurent, note le rapport, alors que la moyenne mondiale est de 31,5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Et le taux pourrait \u00eatre encore plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 dans les h\u00f4pitaux qui ne disposent pas d&rsquo;unit\u00e9s de soins intensifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab&nbsp;Malheureusement, cela indique que notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 fournir des soins suffisants est compromise par une p\u00e9nurie de lits et des ressources limit\u00e9es au sein des unit\u00e9s de soins intensifs&nbsp;\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le professeur Biccard, qui a codirig\u00e9 la recherche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plus de 3&nbsp;000 adultes originaires de 10 pays africains ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tude qui portait sur 64 h\u00f4pitaux dans 10 pays &#8211; Afrique du Sud, \u00c9gypte, \u00c9thiopie, Ghana, Kenya, Libye, Malawi, Mozambique, Niger et Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 qu&rsquo;entre mai et d\u00e9cembre de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, la moiti\u00e9 des patients sont morts sans avoir re\u00e7u d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne et 10 % n&rsquo;ont pas re\u00e7u de traitement r\u00e9nal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;Afrique a enregistr\u00e9 plus de 120 000 d\u00e9c\u00e8s dus au Covid-19, ce qui repr\u00e9sente environ 4 % des d\u00e9c\u00e8s dans le monde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce mois-ci, l&rsquo;Organisation mondiale de la sant\u00e9 a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la pand\u00e9mie sera \u00ab&nbsp;beaucoup plus meurtri\u00e8re&nbsp;\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le coronavirus a tu\u00e9 au moins 3&nbsp;346&nbsp;813 personnes dans le monde depuis l&rsquo;apparition du virus fin 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lire aussi: <a href=\"https:\/\/afrikmag.com\/var\/www\/vhosts\/afrikmag.compublic_html\/covid-19-lafrique-aura-bientot-des-cadavres-gisant-dans-les-rues-melinda-gates-video\/\">COVID-19-\u00ab&nbsp;l\u2019Afrique aura bient\u00f4t des cadavres gisant dans les rues&nbsp;\u00bb \u2013 Melinda Gates\/Vid\u00e9o<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cr\u00e9dit photo&nbsp;: africafeeds<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Selon une nouvelle \u00e9tude, les patients atteints de la Covid-19, risquent davantage de mourir en Afrique que dans toute autre r\u00e9gion du monde.
