Elle devient ainsi la premi\u00e8re femme du pays \u00e0 diriger l&rsquo;une des meilleures branches du pays.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sa nomination par d\u00e9cret, s\u2019est effectu\u00e9e des heures seulement apr\u00e8s qu\u2019elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 ent\u00e9rin\u00e9e par le Parlement. Martha Karambu succ\u00e8de donc \u00e0 David Maraga partie \u00e0 la retraite en janvier dernier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La nouvelle pr\u00e9sidente de la cour supr\u00eame, a au cours de son audition devant les parlementaires, promis qu\u2019elle d\u00e9barrasserait le syst\u00e8me judiciaire de la corruption et de pr\u00e9server son ind\u00e9pendance.
