Int&#39;l Criminal Court (@IntlCrimCourt) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IntlCrimCourt\/status\/1390249074218176513?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 6, 2021<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Crimes odieux<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dirig\u00e9e par le chef de guerre en fuite Joseph Kony, la LRA a terroris\u00e9 les Ougandais pendant pr\u00e8s de 20 ans alors qu&rsquo;elle combattait le gouvernement du pr\u00e9sident Yoweri Museveni depuis des bases du nord de l&rsquo;Ouganda et des pays voisins.\u00a0\u00c7a a maintenant \u00e9t\u00e9 largement an\u00e9anti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ongwen a \u00e9t\u00e9 enlev\u00e9 alors qu&rsquo;il \u00e9tait un gar\u00e7on de 9 ans et contraint \u00e0 une vie de violence apr\u00e8s que le groupe a tu\u00e9 ses parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>LIRE AUSSI:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/afrikmag.com\/var\/www\/vhosts\/afrikmag.compublic_html\/cote-divoire-crimes-de-guerre-et-confiscation-des-terres-dans-louest-le-chef-rebelle-amade-ouremi-devant-les-juges\/\">C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire \/ Crimes de guerre et confiscation des terres dans l\u2019Ouest: le chef rebelle Amad\u00e9 Ouremi devant les juges<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans le m\u00eame temps, les juges ont conclu qu&rsquo;il avait sciemment commis plusieurs crimes odieux \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge adulte, dont beaucoup contre des enfants et des femmes sans d\u00e9fenses qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 contraints \u00e0 l&rsquo;esclavage ou \u00e0 prendre les armes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il \u00e9tait \u00ab\u00a0un<em>&nbsp;agresseur qui a volontairement caus\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9normes souffrances \u00e0 ses victimes, mais \u00e9galement un auteur qui a lui-m\u00eame endur\u00e9 des souffrances extr\u00eames aux mains du groupe dont il est devenu plus tard un membre et un dirigeant de premier plan\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le juge Schmitt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les procureurs avaient exig\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il soit condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 au moins 20 ans de prison, tandis que sa d\u00e9fense soutenait qu&rsquo;il ne devrait pas \u00eatre condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de 10 ans de prison parce qu&rsquo;il \u00e9tait traumatis\u00e9 en tant qu&rsquo;enfant soldat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Mais les crimes \u00e9taient si graves, y compris \u00ab\u00a0<em>des cas o\u00f9 un meurtre a \u00e9t\u00e9 commis en br\u00fblant des personnes vives dans des maisons et le traitement s\u00e9v\u00e8re des enfants\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em>&nbsp;qu&rsquo;une peine plus longue \u00e9tait appropri\u00e9e, a conclu le tribunal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab&nbsp;<em>Dominic Ongwen avait pleinement l&rsquo;intention de tous ces crimes. Il a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans leur commission, il a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la planification et y a particip\u00e9 personnellement.
