Elle doit desormais son \u00e9clairage\u00a0\u00e0 la st\u00e9arine, un acide gras d\u00e9riv\u00e9 du raffinage de l\u2019huile de palme. \u00a0C&rsquo;est une multinationale agro-industrielle belge qui \u00a0produit cet\u00a0agrocarburant dans une usine de transformation de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Siat Gabon.<\/p>\n<p>La production de cet acide gras est le fruit\u00a0d\u2019un accord\u00a0sign\u00e9 en 2014 entre la compagnie Siat et la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019Energie et d\u2019Eau du Gabon (SEEG). \u00a0L\u2019\u00e9nergie produite par l&rsquo;usine de transformation est inject\u00e9e dans le r\u00e9seau de la SEEG contre une r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration, peut-on lire dans les termes du contrat.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Depuis le 28 janvier 2016, l\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e9lectrique produite par Siat Gabon est d\u00e9j\u00e0 inject\u00e9e dans le r\u00e9seau de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9nergie et d\u2019eau du Gabon (SEEG), sous forme de test grandeur nature. L\u2019ensemble des essais ont \u00e9t\u00e9 concluants \u00bb<\/em>, d\u00e9clare\u00a0Jean-Pierre Mvate,\u00a0le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du complexe industriel de Lambar\u00e9n\u00e9, dans des propos rapport\u00e9s par <em>SciDev<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Le cot\u00e9 \u00e9cologique\u00a0de l\u2019usage d\u2019un d\u00e9riv\u00e9 de l\u2019huile de palme comme biocarburant est \u00e9galement un motif de satisfaction pour les consommateurs. <em>\u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est une source d\u2019\u00e9nergie alternative aux \u00e9nergies fossiles trop polluantes et co\u00fbteuses, \u00e0 l\u2019instar de l\u2019\u00e9nergie produite par les centrales thermiques.
